They got cottages, which are $100 tops per night. Got kayaking system, boat launch, fishing, camping etc. so many things to do...

I have not been really impressed by Mississippi, however the state parks have been really NICE. The park here is beautiful and the people are very nice. Very impressed.

the park itself Is beautiful, beautiful lakes for kayaking (they have rentals) or fishing, very small roads coming in to the park, no sign when you get close to the office to tell you stop and park in the overflow parking lot because if you go into the office area circle you won't get out unless you have a tiny RV, there are nice paved roads for riding bikes but I would definitely not suggest the trails in the woods as there are lots of roots and overgrowth, there are several items on the playground for kids and lots of picnic tables (some with covers), nice staff in the office, there is a guard shack towards the entrance of the park that seems unmanned and it is in a very odd place and we almost hit the roof with our fifth wheel, there are several dumpsters around the park and a dump station if you need it, there are several large pavilions with picnic tables, water pressure is good but the sites can be quite difficult to back into if you have a large rig (we thought we would flip over at one point). Elvis's birthplace and museum are maybe 15 minutes away, restaurants and stores are 15 min or so away

It's a beautiful lake, clean water and many gorgeous settings. We visited to do some bass fishing and were not successful that day. Highly recommend as a place to visit though.

Love this place. The group camping area is awesome! Clean bathrooms, great views, an amphitheater.. Beautiful lake. Will be back a LOT!

Nice campground. Nice reservoir to canoe or fish in. Showers are free but shower house kind of dated. No where to put your dry clothes to avoid getting them wet in the shower stall! Great mountain bike and hiking trails through the woods. No privacy between sites. Hook ups and sewer.

I stayed here for several weeks in May. It is skoolie friendly! This campground has a lot of beautiful scenery and space to play around. I stayed at site 4. The picnic table is on the driver’s side which was weird to me as normally they’re on the passenger side. Site 2 has the hook ups on the passenger side which is even weirder. Anyway, site 4 is very close to the bathrooms which have 2 showers, 3 toilet stalls, and 2 sinks in the women’s and then a few washers and dryers in the center section of the bathhouse. There is a light pole right behind the site. Every weekend TONS of families came to stay, and there was always a ton of annoying children running and screaming and riding their bikes all over my site. They would even go sit and play at my picnic table, which is bad on their guardians, not the campground. I also saw several stray dogs that stayed for a while. The week days were typically very nice and quiet. I didn’t use the sewage, but the electrical and water hook ups worked perfectly fine for me. Overall 4/5 stars because of the hot restroom and weird layout of the sites I mentioned earlier.
