Continues to be the top notch campground in the Gulf area! Great tram takes you to the beach daily. Great hosts. Cleanest bathrooms anywhere!!

This place has it all! A shuttle to the beach and hiking trails, paddle board/kayak rentals, and real live alligators! Clean bathrooms and outdoor showers too. Soft sandy beaches. We had the best time on the beach and then walked to the lake at sunset! Beautiful day at a beautiful place!

Wonderful, relaxed park! Gorgeous beach and beautiful nature! Remember to bring your bike. It's the easiest way to get around there. The cabin was very cozy and clean!

My family glamped here and it was such a tremendous time. Beautiful place. Some of our group enjoyed the bicycle tour on Wednesday morning. We saw alligators, eagles and dolphins. Gorgeous powdery sand. Glamping tips: There are some fire ant mounds congregated around the glamping sight, especially the hose area. They will get you while you try to wash up. A hose to distance yourself from the spigot and some bug bite salve would be a good idea to bring.

Stunning park with sand dunes, coastal scrub, lakes and pine forests! The trails are relatively short and we finished in 2 days. The park is incredibly well maintained, trails well labeled, multiple bathrooms, and picnic spots. The campgrounds are some of the best we've camped at, with water, electricity and a fire ring! Highly recommend the Morris lake trail, there's nothing like hiking through the pristine dunes!

Beaches, bikes, cabins, RVs, trails, wildlife, & boardwalks! Easily my favorite state park. I posted my first review 3 years ago. We rented a cabin to celebrate a graduation back then and have followed with many great day trips. Trams to the beach and beach wheelchairs! Update: The owl nest seen this past winter had an eagle in it today! (May 2, 2021)

We came during COVID so the pool and shuttle was shut down. The bath house for our area was too and these reasons why we gave it 3 stars. Park is beautiful with flowers and a pond and roomy. All spots are concrete. Went and looked at the tent sites out of curiosity (we used their bath house) and they were nice and private. Beach is pretty far so we know why they have a shuttle but we hiked it just to stay busy. Great location and it isn't in a loud tourist area but is a short distance from it all if that's what you're wanting. Oh and there's a coffee shop on the premises!

Tram not running so didn't do the mile walk to the beach. Just strolled a short way on the trail.
