Good: there are a lot of resort amenities. Paved roads. Friendly and helpful staff. Not so good. Upon arrival we picked up a grocery bag full of trash from our site. The patio furniture was filthy. We had to wash it before use. The dog pen and K-nine pens could use a cutting. The resort is located near some very busy roads- lots of traffic noise.

Zero stars. I am one of those who never leaves reviews but this place deserves one. If you ever need assistance or help here you won’t get it. Management was absent and you aren’t able to talk with them at all, doesn’t matter the severity of the situation. The front desk acts as worthless middlemen who don’t give you any answers or explanation to how they run things. They don’t care AT ALL. The resort is nice but because of the staff we will NEVER go back. Unfortunately we wasted our money and even more so our time doing a month’s rent at this terribly managed place. Zero communication and worst costumer service I’ve witnessed. Cant express how frustrated and disappointed I am about this.

We have a very nice stay at the Tuscon KOA! We were lucky to be there in February when the weather was lovely. We had a great level site with fruit trees around. Easy walk to a beautiful pool. They had some great activities and train rides that the kids liked. The store is AMAZING. Shout to Bridget for being so friendly and awesome. She made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. Their New Mexican restaurant on site was VERY good! Was easy to get to Saguaro National Park from there, and also had decent grocery stores nearby. Great KOA!

This is a super fabulous campground. Large spacious sites with a variety of site options to choose from. The grounds were immaculate and office staff helpful going above and beyond. It does have resort feel in Tucson but not resort prices. Best value campground we have ever stayed at in our 20+ years of camping. Only drawback is location does seem to be in not so great part of town but entire grounds are fenced with block walls and security gates. We felt safe. There are large RV dealerships just outside property.

This KOA is absolutely beautiful. If you are in the area or just driving through, make sure you book a stay for at least one night or more. They have everything you can think of. The 2 pools are so nice and relaxing. Every campsite is perfect. The grounds immaculate. The bathrooms, showers, and laundry rooms are extremely clean. This is our 4th year here and we love it. The little library is an awesome book exchange and we loved trading books. "Leave one take one" They also have get amenities for the kids. Huge shout out to Cindy, one of the staff members who went above and beyond to make sure the bathroom was in pristine condition. Great job by all of the staff

We came here for the first time in 2022, then again just in May of 2025 - this time for a few weeks! We love it here! The pools are great, the lots are level and many different kinds to choose from. Lots of activities, and events happening throughout your stay. We LOVE THE fruit trees! Great fruit, oranges lemons! WOW! Super yummy and unique experience. (Check the office for sticks with claws, for easy picking) we stayed in a variety of sites and we have no complaints. The crew picks up your garbage, takes care of the park and is always friendly. It’s fairly quiet and everyone was very respectful of quite hours. You’ll hear some loud cars from a few streets away and jets every now and then, but it didn’t seem to be often enough to bother us. We haven’t eaten at the restaurant but have heard good reviews from others. This location is close (15-20 min )to many things like Costco, Trader Joe’s; Whole Foods; Home Depot, Safeway, target and so much more! Some locals told us to try Senor Taco-a local food truck, I’ll try it and leave a review for you guys there. Come check this KOA out/ we’ve been to 22 different state KOAS AND this is our FAVORITE!! If you stay 5 nights or more you get a 30% discount!! Make sure to take advantage of great pricing on the website

I’m staying at the KOA Tucson/Lazydays. I’m on my 3rd day of 5 at this resort. I received excellent service from the beginning with David from front desk reservations. He was kind and professional. He spent a lot of time with me, making sure my special needs were met. He found the perfect spot for me and my dog. The whole staff here excelled, always greeting you a smile and making you feel welcome. Steve from maintenance guided me to my spot. He was very patient and so nice to me as I was exhausted from the long drive. The resort is well managed, with many activities available, the grounds and facilities were well kept and clean. You must try the Mexican restaurant on the grounds it was delicious. Being a solo traveler I felt very safe here. I would highly recommend this KOA. I would like to thank all the staff here.

Great place to stay with a family, lots to do at the resort most all is free or low cost. There were many retirees as well but never felt like my kids weren't welcome or in the way, a variety of people staying here. Felt safe and comfortable. Camping here doesn't feel like you're a number in a parking lot, they really do try to make your sure feel as private as possible with bushes/trees. Really good value for the price, great service too! Highly recommend.

This RV park truly stands out for its exceptional service and dedication to guest satisfaction. Their attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a pristine environment are commendable. From the well-maintained grounds to the friendly atmosphere, every aspect reflects their high standards. It's a pleasure to recommend this RV park for a memorable experience. It doesn't seem like much from the outside but it opens up to an oasis with every site having its own fruit tree. We've been here 3 times and the salubrious effect of this RV park on our well-being is undeniable; we always leave feeling refreshed and revitalized. My comments pertain not only to my wife but also to our two dogs. Several sites offer private gated areas for pets, some even featuring double-decker patios. Whenever we travel through that region of Arizona, we will always schedule our itinerary to include this location. We've never had a bad experience with KOA's but this one makes most look bad.

This is the best KOA we have ever stayed at! It is beautiful, great location, and super friendly and helpful staff. We had a loft site that was great for our family of four. We have a dog fence that went around the bottom perfectly and we LOVED the fire pit. They have orange, lemon and grapefruit trees throughout the property and that was the best fresh citrus we have ever tasted! They let you borrow pickers from the office. We ate so many oranges and grapefruits and made delicious homemade lemonade. The dog park is one of the best - grass and trees in the desert and it is huge. Our dogs had a great time playing with other dogs there. Bathrooms were clean. Pools were nice. We had fun playing pickleball. We met lots of nice people, many who stay for months at a time. We will definitely be back This is the best KOA we have ever stayed at! It is beautiful, great location, and super friendly and helpful staff. This was the best KOA ever you feel like you're in the garden of Eden and you can pick oranges grapefruit limes lemons heaven. The people were really nice that work there the pool was beautiful lots of dog parks amazing different sites. I would definitely come back to this RV park.

Moving Forward Adventures

We had a great stay at this KOA! Many RV larks call themselves resorts, but this KOA truly is one. They have a beautiful manicured property, restaurant/bar, bike rentals, pools/hottubs, pickle ball courts, and several dog parks throughout the area. If you are planning on staying in the summer, we recommend trying to get one of their cool covered sites as the summer sun in Tucson can be extreme. Our back in site was very nice with enough space for a second car. Facilities and property were clean, and the staff was extremely friendly! The campground has easy access to the Tucson loop, which is a must do for any bike rider. We definitely will be back.

Great experience just a couple problems. A little annoying that the Sunday live music ended 40 minutes early two Sundays in a row. They play no island music either. Also the man that picks up the trash acts really annoyed if you ask him any questions and is totally unfriendly. I think his name is Michael he usually takes off his name badge so not positive. Pretty sure he only puts his name badge on when he is in the office. He has grey hair and beard goatee. Been here twice and both times he's unfriendly. Even tried to be friendly and start a conversation. Seen him be rude to other employees in the office also. This guy needs to find a new job. The bbq restaurant and pool side service is great especially Haley and Mary. Nicholas was great as well!

Wonderful KOA! Daily activities, very clean restrooms, friendly and helpful staff and the BBQ restaurant is very good. We rented a cabin for our son and his family while we were in a pull through site with our 5th wheel. The cabins are very clean and comfortable! We will be back! Already have another time booked!
