Sweet park with very reasonable rates. Make sure and sit outside at dusk and listen to taps from nearby military base!

Amazing piece of history. There isn't a lot of shuttle info like at Kennedy, Saturn v exhibit is similar none the less awesome exhibits, hands on for kids.

Just an RV park. No pool. Picnic tables at sites. Clean bathrooms. Not much to do except Space and Rocket Center.

Nice place to stay and very close to Space Center. Most people are perms, but we never seen them. Small, but easy access to lots of near by things!

This review is for the RV park only not the actual Space & Rocket center The best positive, IMO, they have a security guard that drives through on a fairly regular basis. A huge negative, IMO, no WiFi. The attendant said they did away with the WiFi a few months ago. Hard to believe a park this close to town & the Space & Center doesn’t have WiFi. They have pull through & backup full hook ups. The sewer hook up (at my area) is higher then the vast majority of any sewer hook ups I’ve used. When you drain the tanks it drains downhill and then uphill to the sewer drain, even on a sewer support. The other hookups are fine. They have a washer and dryer available but only doing office business hours. They have at least two employees- a girl - super nice & a guy - the complete opposite. The more I deal with this guy the more I’m surprised he’s in the service industry. He sucks the oxygen out of the room - just saying

The best adult experience in Huntsville. It takes you back to your childhood...when you dreamed.

We love staying here. It is very convenient for us. We stay here every time we come through Huntsville. The price is set to the eminities. Great walking places for our dogs. Good internet. Friendly, helpful staff.

This is a very educational place to bring the entire family. People of all ages will enjoy the many attractions of this museum. The IMAX experience is a must see film.

Mu husband and I stayed in this RV campground as a half way stopping point between our home and Pigeon Forge. We stayed here on our way to Pigeon Forge, and then again on our way back home. This is a great campground! They have full hook-ups and the rates are fabulous! The campground host was very friendly and remembered us when we stopped back in on our way home. It's a small campground, but very comfortable. The Space and Rocket Center is very close. We visited the Space Museum during our return stay at the campsite. It's very interesting and quite a fun place to visit, with lots of interactive exhibits. If you have motion sickness, beware. I let my husband do most of the 'flying' attractions. But it was a wonderful visit. We highly recommend this campsite!

Fantastic RV Park! All 30 amp spots, with full hookups (including sewer). Close enough to walk to the Rocket Center in just a few minutes. Staff was very friendly and helpful about things to do in the area.

Inexpensive. Larger spots than some other parks. Access to highway without the noise is nice.

Really nice wooded park that is very reasonable. It is within walking distance to the US Space & Rocket Center.

This is a great and very historic place, it tells the story of the United States part in Space. It also has all kinds of stuff for you to interact on for both young and old alike. Great place!

First off, this park is walking distance to the US Space & Rocket Center and Space Camp. It's hard for a geek not to get excited about that and definitely worth a stop by. There isn't much else around, other than a Marriott hotel. They have full hookups, although they are a bit on the older side. We had trouble hooking up in our first space due to a reverse polarization signal with our electrical. We also had a problem in another space with a leaky spigot. Fortunately, the staff was very friendly and moved us to another space that worked fine. There weren't any laundry facilities, but they did have showers and restrooms. There are also picnic tables at each site, although there seemed to be a strange tendency for campers to use tables at different sites than their own. Overall, this park felt similar to many State Parks we've stayed in; a little older and limited amenities, but perfectly acceptable. The rate is also a bargain.
