Love and appreciate the different-sized sites. Firepits and picnic tables. NO running water. Bring your water! Vault pit toilets that are serviced several times a day. Quiet. Pet and family-friendly. Definitely recommend reserving the right size site for your group online. We had a really great 4 day vacation 6/26-29 with amazing fellow campers! We even visited the Umpqua Hot Springs, which were awesome and so beautiful.

Great Lake right near hot springs and falls. Definitely a spot to relax and unwind. Take your fishing lines with you too. You’ll need an Oregon state fishing license. $10 per campsite. Reservation are required from June through Labor Day, otherwise it’s first in first gets it.

Nice campground in a quiet location, the sites were everything we needed to stop by on our road trip. The lake itself is great, a perfect spot to sit by and enjoy nature.

FYI- this camp I’m pretty much has a full signal with Verizon, even though the coverage map doesn’t suggest it. Great little campground overall. No water, vault toilets, along the river and a nice lake just outside campground. It’s cheap too, $10-25/night. Lots of waterfall hikes nearby and 4 miles from Umpqua hot springs.

The campground is beautiful and less crowded than the more popular lodge (which is also an amazing place). My site had shore access, mosquitos were not bad. Important lesson, if tent camping realize it may be 90 in the day and 35 at night. So dress in layers.

This was our first experience camping at Diamond Lake and we thought it was a great campsite! We tent camped and thought that our campsite was big and had lots of space. Our specific site wasn’t as private because we were right next to the bathrooms and the road, but there were plenty of sites that put you right on the lake. The lodge had a restaurant and drinks that they served and plenty of boat and kayak rentals to do on the lake. The campground staff was really friendly and they checked up on us in case we needed anything. This site is about 30 minutes from Crater Lake which was a bonus for us! Would definitely come back to the Diamond Lake for camping in the future.

Very beautiful campground. We stayed there for three days and had a very memorable experience camping here. The bathrooms definitely needs a lift-up. The shower rooms were clean and had running hot water. Highly recommended as most of the campsites have pretty good lake view. Pro tip#1: If you are out of propane, check with the nearby diamond lake groceries near the resort nearby, before driving all the way to the nearest town. Pro tip#2 : Most of the times we couldn't get any data here. Sometimes in the night and mornings, we did got decent signal that's good enough to make phone calls. We had to drive like 5 minutes out of the park to the nearest gas station where we got a good LTE (Verizon) to do our work.
