Uncompahgre River Adult RV Park

It’s a great location to do the south and north rim of Black Canyon. WiFi was perfect and good Verizon cell service. Pickleball in Montrose every morning. Clean shower and laundry room. Manager, Marie is perfect. The residents/ long term campers were also helpful and friendly. Campground is tucked back in a subdivision and not off the highway. (Very nice) One of the neighbors has goats and roosters but we loved it, clean country living!

I would give it a zero... management was all over the place. If your not 50 plus over and have any age of kids.. don't wait your time. She said they where under new management and things where different but she decided what goes on.. I guess... great location.. need just spring clean up for sure. Great location. Heard people talking it was a retirement community and she told me and showed me. She said Cedar and Koa prices and told me to go there... I'm not 30 or over 40.. grow kids with cash to give her and was turned away because I guess I had grown kids and want over 50? I was so shocked and it took me a week to write this.. but after talking to residents that have since moved because of situations..that are none of my business.. said she runs it like a retirement community but do not advertise it as so.

Great little park with a lot of friendly people and staff . We stayed in site 37 that was a nice level cement pad that backed up to a river. Would definitely stay here again!!

One of the nicest parks we stayed at on our month long trip. Marie the manager was beyond awesome. The bathrooms were incredible. Each one a private bath like at home. Laundry room was impeccable. Beautiful setting with lots of trees. Also once again Marie was beyond accommodating and incredibly nice. We hope to visit her again!!

What a true gem in Olathe CO! So very much quieter than the road side parks in Montrose. The best part is with all the beautiful trees, sound of the river and wide spacious sites you truly feel like you are “camping”. Not just staying in a parking lot sharing your neighbors vacation. And the best part is how much cooler it is in the summer than Grand Junction and Montrose. You are in a small town and away from all the tourists of Montrose and right next to all the farm markets. Love love that Olathe Sweet Sweet Corn!! So close to the Black Canyon, Ouray, and Million Dollar Highway as well! Best part was the staff! Marie and Noah made our visit so memorable! Very few campgrounds treat their guests as family. Marie is a real professional and a wonderful host. She made our visit what it was and because of her we will be back!! Thank you Marie!!

Very nice small Rv park. Lots of mature trees and the Uncompahgre river runs right thru it. This is our second visit. Close to Montrose and the National Park.

Not exclusively over 50 years of age, polluted river not good for fishing, too much dust from farm field, irrigation water polluted and stinky. Site are nice but too many mosquitoes from polluted pond to sit outside. Nice community room, laundry nice but very expensive.

Overnight stop on an extended trip. Was looking for quiet shaded cooler spot than grand junction. Very nice staff that checked in with me before they closed at 5 and left the info for me at the office.

We canceled our reservation because highway 50 was closed and the detour was to difficult for my wife to handle. Well over 30days and after you book and get the confirmation does it say no refundable $60 deposit for one day. Its not the industry norm to keep all of the deposit unless they are not given adequate notice. So book somewhere else if you even think your plans will change.

We stayed a week in our 37' fifth wheel and loved this campground. It is quiet with the river flowing behind our site, concrete pad, easy full hook-ups, laundry and bathroom facilities are spotless, campground was clean and well maintained. Mark was very helpful with prioritizing things to do and see in the area. Great base camp for a week of day trips! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back.

My husband and I stayed here in our new 2024 5th Wheel Montana 44ft for our 25th wedding anniversary. Such a nice peaceful spot. Quiet, sites are concrete with porch area. Easy full hook up. Uncompahgre River creek flows thru and you can sit by it. Paths you can walk along the creek and woods! We joined rv camp fire circle and visited with owner, manager, other and it was so nice. A mule deer just passed thru right beside us going down to the creek. Fun to watch Mark the owner fly his own parachute plane. 55+ park and no worries of a ball bouncing off your rig. 😁🥰. We stayed a month and it was hard to leave. Just feels like home! And Delta is very close to go too or just a little farther to Montrose and has just about anything you can think of. Excellent spot to enjoy nice and quiet RV to park at!!!!! I highly recommend and hope to go back soon. I have a good day and

My wife and I have been traveling in a 5th wheel for 9 years and have stayed at all types of RV locations in the North. Uncompahgre River RV Park located in Olathe, CO. a nice little town surrounded by beautiful mountains and Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and the list of exciting places. The owner Mark will go out of his way to help anyone in need and we have asked for help several times with Mark showing up at our trailer in a short period of time you, can always count on him. For instance, just after moving here I had been out several days of my Heart Meds and was waiting on the delivery driver who told his dispatch that he delivered them here. The dispatch told me as soon as he could talk to his driver he would have him call me. At the same time Mark was holding a “End of the Season Party” in the back by the river and I called Mark immediately. Mark left the party to locate where the driver left my Heart Meds, within 10 minutes I had my meds! What a relief! I had been in AFiB all day and was worn out. We have been here from Sept. 2023 to present date, my wife and I have felt safe and we enjoy the peace and quiet. We have an XL parking area that has our 2023 5th wheel, large 6-passenger Polaris, large dully trailer, pair of Tricycles, Patio lounging furniture and heater and our truck…believe it or not there is still room for a large boat. Who says in old age you can’t enjoy life! We really like it here.

Horrible, arrogant, abrasive, old cranky, sad, miserable, fake. Pretentious.

We really enjoyed our 33 day stay here! Quiet, peaceful, clean and great surrounding area. Mark was a great host! We are planning on returning for sure.

A great quiet place to stay. Large trees for shade in the summer. If you don't have an RV, inquire about the Cabin rental.
