We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It was the off season, so there were barely any people there. We stayed on the sunset side of the 2nd floor of D building and the views were beautiful, especially at sunset. Everything (but the windows) was clean. We stayed in a room that adjoins a shared sitting room. I think it’s only shared if you have family in the next room. I’m not sure. But it was nice having a separate sitting area and extra bathroom.

We stayed in the campground (#27) which was leveled with timbers and gravel which was great for parking my class B van. Sites have all hookups and we chose one close to the bath house which was heated for the winter ( it was February). Nice small stream was trickling behind our site which created a pleasant background “ noise” for relaxing and sleeping. Park employees called me twice to make sure I was still coming ( I was late) and they checked me in over the phone. The Anna Ruby Falls is located on the backside of the campground with an easy drive to the parking lot. I highly recommend a walk to these falls! I wish we had time and warmer weather to enjoy the lake. Only negative was cell service on out site (one bar). Ten minutes drive to Helen Georgia.

Nice lodge with very friendly staff. They are older buildings, but we'll maintained. Enjoyed a meal at the Tavern. Great trails, though be prepared to skirt some recent ice downed trees, but your out in nature hiking so enjoy it 😀 They offer a shuttle to town which is great, parking in town us crowded. Would definitely go back.

Went up to Unicoi on Saturday for the breakfast with Santa event and OMGOSH, let me just say the staff I interacted with, Tesa, Chelsey, Nanette, Susan, Sharon, the activities team, the WHOLE kitchen staff, they were ALL truly amazing at what they do! I brought my grand babies up for a visit with Santa and to enjoy some keepsakes they would be making to surprise their mom with on Christmas such as painting pictures, pictures with Santa 🎅😱 and even a candy cane hunt for a fun (and hilarious for me) activity!! The food was OUTSTANDING, the waitresses, Tesa, Chelsey, and Nanette were absolutely gracious, accommodating, so friendly, and went above and beyond for my littles. For those memories, I extend my heartfelt thanks! I truly want to try staying at the lodge with my family as we all enjoy the outside activities (minus that zip line, lol 🫣) and enjoy ALL of the amenities I've seen online. I pray all of those I mentioned see the praises they are truly worthy of and recognized by management for their wonderful but hard work! Thank y'all all soooo much for the wonderful memories!! God bless y'all and Merry Christmas!!

My husband and I brought our children yesterday to the Breakfast with Santa event, and let me just say—we had an amazing time. The little paintings and ornaments our babies made are absolutely adorable, and we will treasure them for years to come. Thank you so much to the activities staff for such a thoughtful experience! I would also love to thank the wonderful breakfast staff. Chelsey and Tesa did an incredible job—they are bright, genuine, and as kind as can be. Their manager, Nanette, truly made our stay extra special with her joyous cheer and welcoming spirit. To the kitchen staff, the food was one of the best buffets we’ve had in a long time! Susan, the front desk manager, took some amazing photos of our happy little family—what a wonderful feature to offer. She was so very kind. Thank you, Unicoi, for the happy memories made. We will be back!
