Ana Ruby Falls was beautiful! First off! And the paved trail was very accommodating to my uncle who has had knee replacement. We used the “Seek” app to identify plant species along the trail. We read every one of the fact plaques along the way as well. Truly wonderful way to spend the afternoon and the company that manages the gift shop and gate employ wonderful people!

Lovely scenery with lake. Plenty of shade from all the trees at campsites. Trails close to campground.very hilly site especially to the comfort station. Campground was well maintained. All utilities worked. Plenty of trash receptacles.

I was at the Lodge for the GRWA conference and was very happy with everything associated with the stay. All the employees, From the front desk to the hospitality staff, were polite and professional, quick to offer assistance. Unfortunately, the weather kept me from taking advantage of the activities offered by the lodge. Overall it was a great experience.

Overall: great! Good: End of October, leaves changing, first frost, great time. Service was excellent: needed extra bedding, no problem. Food was great. Shuttle was good and very convenient. Take the trip up to Anna Ruby Falls ($5/person). It's a short hike, but was good. Bad: Mattress was a bit older inner spring, a bit of a hard time sleeping. Shower did need some caulk to prevent leaking. Could smell someone smoking dope occasionally; no fault of lodge. Overall, a great stay. Would do again.

Beautiful hotel and beautiful location. The two restaurants/bar are great. A little hard to get to some room with a bunch of baggage though lifts and ramps are there. We had a great view from our room and a staff member said it was the best room. Lots of places to sit and hang out outside. Fire pits available etc. There is a shuttle to take you into town and back. Super clean, great room service people. I liked it and would stay again.

This property boasts a fantastic location, ideal for exploring nearby attractions. The grounds are truly beautiful, offering a serene escape. Guests can enjoy scenic hiking trails and a picturesque lake. There are also numerous activities available for all ages right on the property. It's a wonderful place for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

My wife and I stayed a weekend night in the hotel. The location of the hotel is definitely convenient, but unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t live up to expectations. Our room wasn’t very clean, and for the price, the amenities were underwhelming. There’s also a daily fee that supposedly includes things like fruit and water in the lobby… but the fruit was low quality and the water station was empty every time we checked. For what we paid, we expected a bit more care and attention to detail. Honestly, you might be better off staying just a few minutes up the road in Helen.

We haven't stayed at Unicoi for quite some time, but we saw a special for $58/night, so... Had an enjoyable stay, as there's lots of hiking in the area and kayaking and hiking/camping is our jam. Not much of a lake to paddle, but if you just wanna splash around or have kids...it works. There's other stuff too, but we're not into the zip line, tubing, Helen thing. Lodge is clean and staff is attentive...we'd do it again.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay! The staff was super friendly and helpful. We loved patty. We stayed against the creek it was very peaceful. Amenities such as bathhouses are really clean and roomy. Plenty of room for families and individuals just trying to get away. There is plenty of outdoor activities. Staff will let you know of any activities that the park has going on along with the nearby city of Helen. One of our days was a nasty rainy day and there was an art festival that the staff let us know about and it turned a rainy day into a great day and saw different historical sites that the festival had partnered with. We really enjoyed. Additionally Anna Ruby falls is right there at the park and it's a paved hike all the way to the falls 10/10 would recommend!!

I typically avoid leaving reviews, but after my second night here, I feel compelled to share my thoughts. I recommend looking for other accommodations if you're traveling with children. There were shingles coming off the roof, and construction materials and dumpsters littered around the property. The restaurant hours, shuttle service, and breakfast options were extremely disappointing, with nothing seeming to be open. Although we paid for some entertainment on-site, the overall maintenance of the facility is concerning. I regret not reading the reviews beforehand. The TV in our room wasn't functioning, there was an unpleasant smell inside that suggested a leak, and there were no games available by the fireplaces for entertainment. The outdoor fireplace could have been a nice touch on a Sunday evening, but overall, the experience didn't match the photos or online advertisements. I spent a lot of money in Helen to entertain my child and wish we had stayed closer to Main Street. My idea of a lodge getaway for the girls turned out to be a mistake. While we didn't mind paying for breakfast, it felt like a basic offering that hotels usually provide, especially considering the property was an active construction site. Called front desk twice throughout no answer. We’re dealing with disappointed. -Mace
