Perfect for our stopover! Right off I40. Patrick, in the office, was helpful n pleasant. Bathrooms very clean. Site was level - did not unhook. Would have stayed longer but needed to get on the road again.

Gallup is not really a destination location but a great place to stop-over for a few days on your way to wherever. The price is right. Easy in and out. Roomy spots. All gravel with small pad with picnic table at many sites. We did not use the bathrooms or laundry facilities. Will definitely be stopping again.

We parked our RV there last night and spent the night. The people there are incredible nice and the people in the park were so friendly! They have a dog run that is quite large and they provide bags so you can clean up after your puppies. It was just a great experience. They also have a gift shop and items that you may need during your stay. I would give them 6 stars if I could!!

Good enough for over night. Check in guy with the goatee was friendly and efficient, very busy park when we stayed recently. Offered BBQ rib dinner was delicious. The problem (as others have stated) is that the rates on their website are apparently adjustable according to whim or events in the area. Nowhere on the online rate chart is this stated. We have stayed here before without a problem, but this time rate was higher than published and promised wifi was unavailable yet no resolution was offered. Wouldn't have hurt to apologize and offer something (future discount?). Customer satisfaction yields to profit...

This park is pretty nice and the employees we dealt with are friendly, but we had a bad experience with Melissa, the owner (read below for the details), but overall we still recommend the park. The pool looks nice, but isn't heated. There is a very nice clean playground with a large chess set to play, and an eating area where they make BBQ a few nights a week which is good, but a bit pricey for what it is. The sites are pretty large and navigation through the park is easy. There is an enclosed dog park as well, though it still has a hole in the middle that another reviewer mentioned. They do have WiFi but as with most campground WiFi systems, it's very slow at about 1Mbps. TMobile and AT&T data performance here is very poor as well. The park is directly under the flight path for the local airport so you will have airplanes flying directly overhead, and there is train traffic across the road, but not crazy loud. Be aware of thorns along the south fence line which can stick in your dogs feet. Also in our site and the ones around us at least, the sewer connections are such that the threads are too far down for your hose / elbow to screw into, which could potentially cause an issue. The laundry was usable but a couple of machines were out of order and the dryers took forever to dry, but were only 75 cents. When we checked in, I didn't immediately notice that we were charged $306 for our 5 night stay instead of the $250 that we were quoted months earlier by phone by Mike when we made the reservation. I pulled up their web site later to check the prices and saw that 5 nights should be $230.15 with Good Sam discount and the extra person fee for our 2 kids (don't get me started on how ridiculous it is to add a surcharge for more than 2 people) Melissa seemed a bit upset that I brought up the web site, and she stated flat out that they do not honor the prices on the web site, as they charge extra during certain times of the year. While the web site states "Reservations and pricing for events available ONLY by phone" it does not list any dates for events, so you are at their mercy as to when they feel like charging you more. Still, I told her I was fine with paying the $250 that we were originally quoted by Mike over the phone, and when I mentioned that I had the recording of the phone call if she wanted to listen to it, she turned red and asked me to step to the side, then she checked in another customer and told me "I'll be back to deal with you - I'll probably just refund the whole amount" and I replied "oh that's not necessary, we just want to pay what we were quoted" and she ran out the door. The other worker there said "She's the owner, she's probably going to kick you out." Kick us out for asking to pay what we were quoted? Fortunately, when she returned, she had calmed down somewhat and she refunded us $53 which was close enough to the $250 we were quoted that I was okay with that. About a half hour after the incident, she found me and, to her credit, she did apologize. In my opinion, they should either list the dates when surcharges apply on the website for everyone to see, or better yet, use an online reservation system that can simply quote the appropriate price for that date range. I'm going to chalk up our bad experience to Melissa having a bad day, but she almost turned what should have been a simple check-in billing correction into a huge ordeal.

Only stayed 1 night but will certainly stay again in the future. It is gravel site but very clean even the rest of the facilities are all well maintained. We arrived late but old gentleman in the office accommodate us and was very helpful. It's also an easy off and on the interstate so its a huge plus especially if you are just passing through.

We stopped here on our way back to Reno and it worked out great for our overnight rest stop. We had to empty our black tank, do some laundry, take showers and rest. The park was full but yet quiet at night. The staff was very friendly and treated us with respect. When you do a stop over on the road we do not need a hard time at check-in and keeping it simple is surely appreciated. Thank you!

Pros: This park is located on Rt.66 and is within the Gallup city limits so amenities are nearby. There is a pool, propane, WIFI, TV and full hook-ups. The bathrooms/showers are OK. The park is well organized. Cons: It is generally quite breezy and dusty. The Cowboy Cookout is awful - don't bother. You can make a reservation but you must pay when you arrive. This is an unusual, I've never come across it before. The store/office is tiny and doesn't offer much, and the person behind the counter was surly.

Good overnight stop. An all-gravel park that is close to the highway. There were a lot of pull through sites with adequate room. The freeway is close enough to hear but didn't keep us awake. The park is directly under the flight path of a small airport so the early morning takeoffs will make sure you're up in time to check out. Power is shared with your neighbor - there is only one set of circuit breakers for both sites! I had a neighbor there when I arrived so I couldn't turn off power before connecting.

Painless check in, easy to navigate park, amazing amenities for the price you pay. This park isn't your dream resort, but if you need an overnight or a few days to relax this is definitely the place to be. Onsite laundry(quarter operated), area for the kids to play, a nice clean heated pool, a little dog park so the furry ones can stretch their legs a propane station to fill up, and wifi is included. Clean sites, considerate neighbors, and it's fairly close to some good eating. The people bashing this park seem like weekenders who don't know what to expect from a park like this, but I'm here to say they provide everything you need. You get a level site, hook ups, and the pool/playground area to occupy everyone with something to do.

Pros: Easy access. Clean & well kept. Dog park. Showers & a small store that looked interesting. Free internet. Blake’s Lotta Burger is right down the road. They serve the best hatch green chili burger we’ve ever had. ||Cons: train tracks to the north and the 40. At the end of the runway. Large parking lot with full hookups. | |Worked well for our one night stop. It was a nice place. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The gift shop was cute and well-stocked, the pool was clean and a comfortable heated temperature, and laundry facilities were handy and reasonably priced. Showers and bathrooms were clean and accessible. The all-gravel lot was probably the flattest we've seen. Downsides, though, were the lack of lighting to walk back from the pool and laundry, and the absence of any trees. We also had to make a Walmart run in order to cook dinner in the RV since fires were not allowed at all and the "cowboy cookout" (whatever that is) was not available. Made this reservation at the last minute while on the road after an itinerary adjustment, and was very glad that I did.

Nice place to stay for a couple days while touring around the area. Basically it is one large gravel lot with roads. No grass a few sites have some trees. Most sites are side by side so you are very close to your neighbors. We rented a site for 18 days due to vehicle problems. Everyone in the office was very nice except for the owners oldest daughter. She seems to have just a little bit of an attitude. They do have a nice sore with gifts but not very many groceries. Definitely would stay there again if we are in the area. They also have propane onsite and will allow you to fill or dump your tanks for a small fee.

This is a fantastic stopover park! We arrived around 8:00pm and John was very nice and accommodating on getting us an easy pull through site. The sites are level and easy to maneuver. The restrooms were very clean. They offer coffee in the gift shop if needed. While we were there it was very quiet.

We stayed for 2 nights on our way through New Mexico. I really liked this rv park. Staff was friendly, the store was nice. The pool was heated and felt great! Our site was gravel and perfectly level. Nice and clean place. Would loved to have enjoyed the Cowboy Dinner but it must be on the weekends. I would stay here again.
