Best campground EVER. I’ve rented the RV’s as well as the cabin and both are prestine. Everything you need is here! The restaurant on site is incredible. Martin and Julie go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and it’s amazing watching their daughters work along side. Such a lovely family.

Julie and Martin are amazing entrepreneurs!!! We have visited many privately owned campgrounds over the years and Veilleux Marina is a shining 5 stars for all that they provide and their customer service!!! Their restaurant is also top notch! Thank you voth for your hard work and dedication!

Excellent food. Great service. Beautiful view. I wish the staff would have killed every mosquito on the lake ahead of my arrival, but perhaps I am being ridiculous.

The service and management is probably fine, but we didn't get to enjoy it because from the moment we parked until we left we were swarmed by mosquitoes. Do not choose the campsites in the 500s. We saw fireflies briefly on the way to the bathroom, which would have been so cool, fireflies don't exist where we live, but the mosquitoes ruined even that experience. My whole family is taking a bit of Veilleux on the rest of our month long road trip in the form of itchy and painful bites that will take a while to fade. Including many on our faces from being bitten all night. First and last time visiting. Never coming back.

2nd time we stayed here. My only complaint is that the time passed by too fast! Cozy place. Everyone is nice. Owners are accomadating. Best place to stay in hearst if you want to camp near the water, boating and fishing. And the food is amazing! Thanks for having us!! Cheers!!!

Pleasant owners and beautiful marina. Don't expect internet or cell service at many sites.

Great service, great people, great food! They are always there to serve you as needed and a great place to get all you need for a day on the lake fishing (even your bait) or a weekend camping! Can’t wait to sit in the newly renovated restaurant to enjoy another great meal when it opens!

Julie and Martin are sure to make it an enjoyable experience. They have a great location, with access to great fishing and swimming, and are the most gracious hosts you can encounter. Don’t hesitate to stay here and enjoy the Hearst Area.

Nice view of the lake and sunset from the lakeside camp site. There is a small depanneur in the office with essential groceries & items. Bathrooms were about 4min on foot from the camp site. Heads up: The camp site is just an open field shared with children’s swings with 4 picnic tables and 4 fire pits. no water/electricity, no trees(no privacy). This was fine by us since we were there for a short time but not having water on site was a but inconvenient.
