<p> Visalia/Sequoia National Park KOA is a family friendly park that is located in Visalia,California near Sequoia &amp; Kings Canyon National Parks, which makes it a great spot for those who plan to visit the Sierras. This location provides opportunities for wonderful day trips, such as downtown Visalia, with all its quaint shops and restaurants, or Exeter, with its murals and antique shops.</p>
<p>For RVs, we provide grassy, shaded pull thru sites with cable TV &amp; free Wi-Fi. Our tent sites are large and grassy with restrooms near by. There are one and two room camping cabins with air-conditioning. We also have deluxe cabins available. All sites have tables and fire rings.</p>
<p>Our facility also contains a pool, volley ball court, horse shoes, a playground for smaller children, and a game room. For our pets we have a K9 dog park.</p>

Visalia / Sequoia National Park KOA Journey - Visalia, CA

Rented a cabin.cabin was clean.bathrooms clean.cabins and bathroom nicely decorated and kept up. Stayed 5 nights ,good location close to stores and good location to explore the area and Sequoia national Park in Kings canyon.Staff was friendly.would highly recommend. I will be back.
With my family. Also I think it's worth mentioning the hey also have sicks to wash dishes and free coffee in the morning for guest Thank you.

Me and my 3 cavalier Spaniels enjoyed our stay. Very dog friendly. We had a 2 room cabin no bathroom in our cabin but so easy to visit with my dogs a 2 minutes walk was fine.

Visited this KOA campground Labor Day weekend. It is a small campground, spacious spots, mature trees and nice quiet location in Visalia. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Swapping out a damaged picnic table for a nicer one and giving us a late check out time for a small additional fee. The pool was big even though we didn’t use it. The bathrooms and shower areas were a little out dated but clean and functional. I recommend this KOA campground if you are in Visalia or visiting Sequoia National Park.

After a long drive, settling into my site was so much easier because Louis,  the maintenance person, helped with my hook ups. He must of overheard me tell the camp host what a long day it had been. Truckers on my tail. Honking.  Pot holed Roads that bounced my Google mapping out of cup holder. Etc.
He helped plug  Electrical  in. Helped attach hose, topping off my fresh water. And patiently directed me the showers. Twice
After a HOT shower,  the world was A-Okay again.
KOA is the best for a lone traveler. Always feel safe camping solo

We had a great stay here. Our cabin was clean and comfortable, the bathrooms were kept clean, and our kids really enjoyed themselves. The staff was just incredible. Every interaction they were really kind, and helpful to any questions we had. Would definitely come back!

We stopped over on our long drive home. Easy to get into with an RV with decent sized spots. Walked by the pool and it looked nice, didn’t swim but lots of people were enjoying the pool. Nice off leash dog area. Great staff in the office. It was a quick stop but would stay here again. Saw a few cute cats running around.

We recently stayed at the Visalia/Sequoia KOA RV Park as our home base for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The campground itself was clean and offered convenient amenities, including reliable access to shopping like Costco and other larger city comforts. Visalia is a pleasant town, small enough to explore in a day but big enough to have everything we needed.

That said, there are a few things worth noting. The park is located in a heavily farmed area of the valley, which made it quite dusty during our stay. Water pressure was generally fine, but inconsistent at times. On our last morning, our hot water heater didn’t receive enough pressure to ignite, which delayed our showers.

One of our main considerations when booking was proximity to the national parks, but we learned that the drive actually takes about an hour or more to reach either Sequoia or Kings Canyon. While this KOA worked well for city access, those planning multiple trips into the parks may want to explore options a bit closer to the entrances.

All in all, a decent stay with the convenience of urban access, but next time we may consider something a little closer to the wilderness.

The location isn’t particularly scenic, but it’s conveniently close to downtown and Sequoia National Park. The staff is very attentive and welcoming, which made the stay more pleasant. Bathrooms are outdated but kept clean. One of the highlights is the spacious and well-maintained dog park—perfect if you're traveling with pets. The campground is quiet and feels safe, which is a big plus. However, be aware that there’s limited shade at most sites, so it can get quite sunny and hot during the day.

Dog park and grounds have a lot of foxtail grass which is dangerous for dogs. If you have a dog, I don't recommend stopping here. They told me that they are trying to eradicate it though. It just wasn't a good stop for us as we travel with our dog.

Just no.
The place is not great. Highlights are the laundry room and husband says the store is good.

Why no? It's not a nice place. The biggest problem. The weird topless older white dude wandering from one side of the park to the next. Why?? And why did we have to be so close to him.

Felt like a dog peeing on a hydrant to let us know he owned the place. I think he lived there in his old RV. Just no.

Nice starting point to our journey.  Nice staff and after hours check in and check out was super easy.  Nice gravel level pull thru site we stayed at.  Check the site for all the amenities they have its really a good price for what you get.

This campground deserves 5 stars for everything from the amazing staff to cleanliness, hospitality and all the amenities available. Plus the campers were all very nice and hospitable as well. We stopped on our way up north and on our way back. It became the highlight of our trip, so we booked an extra night. Highly recommend this campground!

Holes on our site. Water pressure bad. People were nice.
