We arrived on November 7th for two nights. We paid $60 per night, and on top of that, $3 for an 8-minute shower — and we were four people. The showers were in terrible condition: dirty, rusty, with broken shower heads or barely any water pressure. Out of seven showers, only three were open, and none of them were clean. The front desk service was indifferent and unprofessional. We asked where we could empty our RV tanks, and they directed us to a dump station that was closed for the season. The staff was unable to tell us where else we could go. We ended up paying $15 at another campground to dump our tanks, only to find out later that the Wahweap sites actually have their own dump stations — something the front desk failed to mention. So we basically paid $15 for nothing. We also wanted to do laundry but got confused because there are two different coin systems — one for the showers and another for the laundry. When we explained the situation, the front desk made no effort to help or exchange the coins, so we lost another $3. We’re on a road trip and this was our fifth stop — by far the worst experience. Very disappointing overall. Fortunately, the natural surroundings were absolutely stunning, which was the only redeeming part of our stay. Definitely a campground to avoid!

Loved it. I did wonder why with the heat and no trees that they don't have picnic table covers. Any thing would be helpful especially on those days when its super windy. Free showers to campers. Just make sure you put three coins in at once!!

Very nice area to camp. Clean, large sites and spread out. Each circle area has its own bathrooms/showers. Great views of the lake and scenery. Make sure to see the rising sun! Very pretty! The campsites are uphill from the convenience store/registration office and the store is uphill from the shore. It’s a good walk.

At the cost of 85 dollars a day, this place sucked! The showers were an extra cost of at least 3.00 per person. The sites are not level and are filled with colonies of army ants. We have always wanted to stay here, but we are over that thought and would recommend others to think twice. Is it worth the fees? For us, no!!!

Great place to stay. Plenty of room for taking the dogs on long walks. Beautiful views, close to Horseshoe Bend and the second largest dam. We definitely loved it here.

We're from Austria in Europe and spent two nights at Wahweap RV & Campground on our trip through the southwestern United States. The campground is located in a beautiful landscape on Lake Powell. It's spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. Full hookup is possible, and the staff is friendly. However, the price of $195 for two nights isn't exactly cheap. This place is highly recommended if you want to visit and experience Antelope Canyon — we highly recommend it. Klaus & Karin

We had a great stay at Wahweap Campground! The facilities are excellent — clean, well-maintained, and spacious. The restrooms and showers were especially impressive: spotless, modern, and regularly cleaned. Showers do require tokens ($2 for 15 minutes), which you can get from the camp store. The camp store itself is well-stocked with everything you might need — from snacks to camping supplies and souvenirs — though prices are on the higher side, so it’s good to plan ahead if you’re on a budget. The campground layout offers a good mix of privacy and beautiful views, especially near Lake Powell. It’s a fantastic location for exploring the area. Overall, highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable and scenic camping experience!

Stayed 2 nights in site #22. Very nice site! Spacious, level, beautiful views - what more can you ask for? Loved every minute here! Laundry was nice, views were spectacular, good walking, close to Page! Had stayed here before and will stay again!

Nice, clean and open campground..we had an amazing view and it was quiet with easy access to trails..beware of the extra fees they charge a "resort" fee but do not give access to the resort (hotel) amenities like the pool.

price changed from over the phone to when we got there. and staff wasn't very nice. also you have to pay extra for the showers. Besides that its a nice clean place to RV or tent camp the lake was kinda muddy where we went so not the best place for swimming.

It's all about location, location, location and this is a great spot on Lake Powell. Sites run the gamut from no hookups to full hookups and some double wide sites. A basic camp store and some very nice bathrooms and showers. To me it's $$$$ .

I'm always amazed when I look at campground reviews and see the little things people tick off stars for. This campground is BEAUTIFUL. Page, AZ isn't that large, and this spot puts you right in the middle of all things Page, AZ. The view from any site is insane with Lake Powell just right there. Yes, it'd be cool if they didn't make you buy tokens for the showers (and the showers are pretty bad, clean, but low pressure, not very hot) 3 shower tokens for 8 minutes. BUT I bet it's because this area is so popular during busy season, that not just campers need the shower here. It's also a very beautiful and popular marina location. Laundry is 24/7 which is a plus! The wifi basically only works if you're at the Camp Store/Registration. So hopefully you have 5G or some DVDs handy. I thought the staff were super friendly so I'm not sure what these other reviews are talking about. I loved how spacious each site was and the bathrooms were super nice. Just maybe don't bank on a refreshing shower. 15 minutes from Horseshoe Bend. Lot's of Antelope Canyon tour options (book your tour ahead of time!) and I can't say enough, how beautiful the campground views are, especially at sunset. Beware of stickers and fire ants, they just sort of overpopulate the area, so dogs and toddlers love to go straight for them. Next time we come, we plan on booking a boat tour from the marina!

It was our last trip of the year. Lake Powell is beautiful. The fishing was great. We just stay at the dry camping area and are self contained. $30.00 a day. We were almost all by our selves.

The apathetic customer service here overshadows any benefits from the great views from the sites and the tidy facilities. Had a situation where I was noted as a "no-show" at my reserved site after a late arrival that could have been easily avoided if anyone from the office had bothered to answer the phone. Recieved an equally callous response from the office in-person when attempting to remedy the issue.

Great campground site. Would be nice if people didn’t have a concert after quiet hours… especially after long days of hiking
