Passing through! Great spot right off 70w. We had an other stay booked but after see that so many of the roads are dirt, we did not want to travel to far away from 70w. Dog park was clean. Spots were spacious. Bathrooms were SUPER CLEAN and even smelled wonderful. Host was so welcoming even at 5min to closing. Would stay again!

We had a GREAT STAY in a Kamping Kabin at the WaKeeney KOA! The Kabin was comfortable and cozy, the restrooms were modern and spotless and the grounds were immaculate. The price was great with our KOA Membership Discount compared to a hotel room. The owner, Sheri, was super nice and I highly recommend staying with them when you are in the area!

The staff is super friendly! Sheri was an amazing hostess! The KOA is super clean & well maintained. We were the only tent campers. I was a little hesitant about staying so close to RVs & campers. We didn't even know they were there! We had an amazing 3 night, 4 day stay. It's centrally located to some amazing attractions. We went to Cedar Bluff State Park, Monument Rocks (twice), and Castle Rock. The KOA is pet friendly but make sure you call Sheri ahead of time to verify breed is allowed. There are dog parks on site and close by. Please pick up after your furbaby! Leashes required (no retractable style) at all times. Our weekend neighbors were quiet & welcoming. The on site facilities are well kept & maintained. Bathrooms are super clean, great water pressure in the shower & all toiletries well stocked. Everything is cleaned, stocked & sanitized daily. Laundry facilities are well kept & very handy! The pool is crystal clear! There are bag toss & a basketball hoop on site. We had an amazing disconnect/reconnect these last 4 days! Who would have thought that after 21 years together, we could still have firsts?! Five stars! Definitely recommend! Will absolutely stay here again!

An easy stop off of i70, it was in a lovely location in the Kansas prairie. The staff was friendly. We stayed in the tent sites for a few nights and they gave us a very nice spot. It seemed they would give out the best spots first. But there really wasn't a bad spot. The pool is the highlight and they take pride in making sure it is clean every day. I saw they really took pride in making sure this location was clean. I will say we travelled in July and the winds are heavy! I do not know what it is like in an RV, but in the tents it was a bit wild, but everything was intact.
