Passing through! Great spot right off 70w. We had an other stay booked but after see that so many of the roads are dirt, we did not want to travel to far away from 70w. Dog park was clean. Spots were spacious. Bathrooms were SUPER CLEAN and even smelled wonderful. Host was so welcoming even at 5min to closing. Would stay again!

We had a GREAT STAY in a Kamping Kabin at the WaKeeney KOA! The Kabin was comfortable and cozy, the restrooms were modern and spotless and the grounds were immaculate. The price was great with our KOA Membership Discount compared to a hotel room. The owner, Sheri, was super nice and I highly recommend staying with them when you are in the area!

The staff is super friendly! Sheri was an amazing hostess! The KOA is super clean & well maintained. We were the only tent campers. I was a little hesitant about staying so close to RVs & campers. We didn't even know they were there! We had an amazing 3 night, 4 day stay. It's centrally located to some amazing attractions. We went to Cedar Bluff State Park, Monument Rocks (twice), and Castle Rock. The KOA is pet friendly but make sure you call Sheri ahead of time to verify breed is allowed. There are dog parks on site and close by. Please pick up after your furbaby! Leashes required (no retractable style) at all times. Our weekend neighbors were quiet & welcoming. The on site facilities are well kept & maintained. Bathrooms are super clean, great water pressure in the shower & all toiletries well stocked. Everything is cleaned, stocked & sanitized daily. Laundry facilities are well kept & very handy! The pool is crystal clear! There are bag toss & a basketball hoop on site. We had an amazing disconnect/reconnect these last 4 days! Who would have thought that after 21 years together, we could still have firsts?! Five stars! Definitely recommend! Will absolutely stay here again!

This campground is awesome. We had truck trouble and was there hor 6 nights. The office manager was wonderful. She was so nice. Campground is meticulously kept clean. They have a nice laundry room and a great pool to cool you off. Would definitely stay here again.

An easy stop off of i70, it was in a lovely location in the Kansas prairie. The staff was friendly. We stayed in the tent sites for a few nights and they gave us a very nice spot. It seemed they would give out the best spots first. But there really wasn't a bad spot. The pool is the highlight and they take pride in making sure it is clean every day. I saw they really took pride in making sure this location was clean. I will say we travelled in July and the winds are heavy! I do not know what it is like in an RV, but in the tents it was a bit wild, but everything was intact.

Quite, clean and friendly. WaKeeney was a sleeply little town. But there is an awesome winery outside of town down a long dirt road. You don't want to miss that! You'll find it, it might be the only one for a hundred miles.

We rented a pet friendly cabin and it was wonderful. Air conditioner, TV and a full-size bed plus two bunk beds. Small counter with chair and a perfect empty corner for a porta potty (which, while the bathroom is quite close) is nicer than wandering to the restroom in the middle of the night. Great staff. Beautiful campground. Lovely sunrise. Will definitely stay again.

OWNERS SHERI & HER HUSBAND DO A PHENOMENAL JOB KEEPING THIS CAMPGROUND EMACULATE. I DONT KNOW IF IVE EVER STAYED AT SUCH AN ACCOMMODATING PLACE AS THIS. THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO BE SURE THAT YOU HAD A WONDERFUL STAY. BATHROOMS ARE CLEAN AND WARM. SUMMER TIME POOL AND LOUNGING CABANAS ARE ABSOLUTELY LOVELY. SEASONAL SNACK SHACK ALSO A PLUS. LOCAL SHOPPING AVAILABLE FOR RV STOCKING, AND OFFICE HAS PLENTY OF SUPPLIES REDILY AVAILABLE. CHEAP PROPANE CAMPFIRE RENTAL FOR YOUR STAY ALSO AVAILABLE. GREAT DOG PARK IF YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH A FURRY COMPANION. CONVENIENT GAS STOP @ THE INTERSTATE EXIT, WITH GOOD PRICES. WE USE THIS STOP ALL THE TIME COMING AND GOING ACROSS COUNTRY TO VISIT WITH FAMILY. A GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY. THANK YOU AGAIN AS ALWAYS. SEE YOU NEXT TRIP.

Neat, clean, and easy in and out. A great place to stop for the night or a few days. Two easy in and out gas options for vehicles with trailers right next door make this a very convenient stop. Nice people, well kept, and the things you need make this a good choice for the night.

Easy on/off location. Friendly staff. Clean facility. We booked a cabin for the night to get off the road on our trip home. WOW were we surprised when we opened the door to the couples cabin! It was fabulous! After 9 days of traveling/vacationing this little gem was so needed. A nice queen size comfortable bed with linens and clean fresh nice towels. This place will get marked as a favorite for sure. It is a couples cabin, no pets, so will have to be a special getaway for us since we normally travel with pups. But I think it would be worth it! Additionally, the pool looked enjoyable. The bathroom was big and clean and had hot water and great water pressure.

We only stayed one night but it was a great stay. The parks owners are very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We will be staying here again next time we come through.

Clean campground. Easy after hours directions. My one night there was quiet and peaceful. Cute shop in the main office. Clean bathrooms. 24/7 laundry.

FHU with pull through nice. People friendly and quick. Bathrooms ok. Looked like a nice pool. Very close to major interstate, but this is why WE chose it, for convenience. Price was right ($37)

Great experience here! Got in late and there was someone to help us to our campsite and told us all we needed to know for the stay. The dogs absolutely loved the cute little dog park and it was a life saver to let them burn some energy off leash after being on the road all day! Definitely worth the stay!
