We liked the area. Our site was very slanted. It was the only one available at the time we made the reservation but took it anyway. We made it work for us. Trailer tongue was basically lying on the ground with 8 leveling blocks under each rear jacks. Also we were inundated with large black ants inside and out. I finally got rid of them inside with the help of Hot Shot Ant & Roach spray. This was site 177 in East Redman.

Often come here to fish. Nice place, and cozy before the sunrise (before 07:30)

Brought back many childhood memories of family reunions at this place.

Gorgeous! The view of Lake Wappapello is astounding. So much to do here: museum, visitors center, playground, Beach, boat ramp, etc.

Beautiful quiet during weekdays and on the weekend it turns into one huge family staying in their space greeting one another. Communication is impressive between sites, and woodburning is allowed. 4 huge Turkey Buzzards soaring above my camp each day felt amazing. The hawks over the lake are beautiful to view, and geckos perched was fascinating to witness. Trails across the street for biking and walking are very steep. Great workout! To walk too. Although I didn't fish, the boats were on the water. Beautiful in all the ways. Was able to get fresh chives off the grass to add to my guacamole! The grass had the morning dew and the perfect web of a spiders trap. I cleaned my own site, and the bathrooms are good. Met very friendly people and for life.

Awesome COE campground, very new sites and they are large! Full hook ups are a huge plus as well. Only hard part about this place is leveling your rig, not very many of these sites are even remotely close to being level.

Not a typical corp. of engineer park. The host do nothing to enforce the rules. Car , trucks speeding through the campgrounds day and night, dogs of leash including the host/ volunteers dogs. Cars parked in the street at night. Lot of people living there with their “stuff” all over their campsite. Will not go back. Worst corp. park we’ve visited

Beautiful park, well kept, bath house, playground. Great campsites with tables, firepit with grill. Easy to get in with a Class A motorhome as well!
