Had an amazing time at this beautiful campground! The sites are some of the best kept we've experienced, clean facilities and spectacular scenery!

The inner bay beach campground was very crowded, with RVs piled up one after another, offering no privacy. Access to the inner bay beach requires caution; the campground lacks clearly marked public access, and we were severely reprimanded by the campsite owner. It's essential to go to the beach facing the ocean at sunrise; you can spot active whales in the early morning. The restrooms and bathrooms aren't new, but they're well-maintained and clean.

We have been coming to We Wai Kai for 15 years. We absolutely love it. It feels like home every time we get off the ferry. Great staff, awesome camping, so peaceful and you never know what you’re going to see on Rebecca spit!!🫶🏼❤️🌴

Nice area but pricey. The only campsite around. Sites are close together. We paid $40 per night including a BS $7 pet fee for a small tent site. Showers were $1 per two minutes but were warm. Beautiful area but a cash grab.

We were visiting, in May, just before the season started. There are plenty of pitches available, and the map certainly helps to choose the most appropriate. The washrooms had just been re painted and were in good order. Loonies for the shower are required. The views across the water are stunning, and it's evident that families keep coming back here year after year. Picnic benches, fire pits, electric and water available. We had a lovely quiet stay, enjoying the scenery, watching the oysters being collected at low tide, and the wildlife soaring high above.

We had the chance to stay both in the forest area and just across from the harbor Beach access. Such a family friendly place. We shared in our friends special wedding day. Brought our grandkids. Lots of walks, dog friendly. Hope to go again soon.

A fabulous place to hang out and enjoy all that the west coast has to offer. My favourite moments are early mornings with a cup of coffee by the ocean listening to the whales. The campsite is well maintained and is perfect for tenting!

Beautiful sites on the ocean or up in the trees. Rebecca Spit Park next to it is a fantastic walkable destination for a picnic, bike ride, or beach walk. Camp Office has a little store which is very well stocked.
