Situated in the rural community of Metchosin, this park provides a rare beachfront camping experience that balances raw nature with convenient accessibility. Location & Surroundings
The resort sits directly on a private sandy beach, which is a rare and highly sought-after feature in the Greater Victoria area. Surrounded by the lush, pastoral greenery of Metchosin, the park feels worlds away from the city bustle. The local landscape is defined by gentle coastal breezes, rugged shorelines, and the nearby Witty’s Lagoon Regional Park, where travelers can explore diverse ecosystems ranging from salt marshes to woodland trails.

The park is well-equipped for modern travelers, offering full-service hookups that include 30 and 50-amp electricity, water, and sewer connections. Guests have access to essential conveniences such as clean washrooms, coin-operated laundry, and hot showers. Most sites are level and include high-speed Wi-Fi and individual picnic tables, making it easy to stay connected while enjoying the rhythmic sounds of the ocean waves right outside your door.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to the Galloping Goose Regional Trail, a former railway line perfect for long-distance cycling and scenic hikes. Nature lovers often spend their days birdwatching or visiting the Sitting Lady Falls at Witty’s Lagoon. For those seeking urban adventure, the historic Victoria Inner Harbour is just a short drive away, providing easy access to the Royal BC Museum and local artisan boutiques.
Who This Park Is Best For
This resort is an excellent choice for nature enthusiasts and retirees seeking a tranquil, scenic retreat rather than a bustling, activity-heavy park. It specifically appeals to RVers who prioritize spectacular ocean views and immediate beach access. If you enjoy falling asleep to the sound of the tide and value stunning coastal vistas, this park offers the perfect home base for your Vancouver Island exploration.

Booked and paid for my site in February. Arrived a couple weeks ago to be told my rv will not fit in the site I reserved. After some discussion, they agreed to let me see if the RV would fit. RV fit the site just fine. The price per night is high. I stayed at other campgrounds right on the ocean with the same services for much less. Read other reviews about being run down and sorry to say I agree.

We come from Calgary and spent 5 night on this RV resort. The location is awesome, it’s just on the beach, nice ocean view. But the beach smell very bad and compare to the price, oh com’on… very old facilities and bad smells and very unstable internet wifi, I will say that I would have way better choices than this one. Won’t come again.

Owners were quick to respond by email with answers to questions, but never once saw them in person. No one at the office even when we arrived at 6:30pm. Resort is a very loose term. Pretty rundown. We’ve stayed in nicer places for much less.

I canceled my reservation on a family matter. I do know what there cancellation policy is but this was and is beyond my control. I find there compassion little to none. I find it that disgusting. My sister is on her deathbed and only has a matters of weeks to live. If I cancelled it for any other reason I would understand and take the loss. Instead they would not reimburse me my camping fee. So they cancelled my reservation, keep my money and then they will assign my spot to someone else and make double the profit. I gave them one star but I would have gave the zero.

Run down. Weeds everywhere, dangerous deep holes in the grass field. No staff on to deal with issues at night. One campsite was loud and partying until 3AM and nothing was done. The Beach is fantastic.
