The campground is on the smaller side, with 33 sites packed into a pretty tight loop. The surrounding area is absolutely magnificent, beautiful, glorious, and all the other things nature can be. Wonderful bird watching.

I loved the natural vibe here. Very peaceful. It doesn’t have a lot of amenities, but also no crowds! It’s a great place to relax and clear your mind. Nature is very healing.

Camping can fill up during busy times. Also pay day use area. Rabbits and lots of shore birds. Some thinking and relaxing in the island. The turn the the road can be hard to see if driving fast on 101.

This camping site is built in harmony with the beautiful scenery. The reason why I've already visited this place for the 3rd time is because there is a very good trail course, and it's a great place. If you walk along the secluded path, you can see the sea view and Wild natural area overlooking the sand beach, and you can enjoy a very refreshing trail with a reasonable distance. It's a flaw that there aren't many parking lots, but it's also a great place. I highly recommend it.

Driving through the 3 capes area looking for a camp site for the night for our RV. We passed a lot of private full hook up sites. We prefer to "boondock " and come across this place. There was only us there until another RV turned up after dark. Scenic peaceful area overlooking sandy Bay full of wild birds, blue herons, egrets, rabbits. If you're looking for simple out of the way and from crowds stay here.

We were in a bit of a bind driving north on 101 without a campsite reserved anywhere, but I'd remembered this spot that I stopped at a few years ago, so we pulled in to ask if there was any availability. The camp hosts, Rosa and Peggy, were extremely helpful and kind. They set us up for 3 nights. The campground is family-friendly and dog-leash-friendly, and there is plenty to do. We will be coming back with a reservation for sure.
