Clean and well built park. We didn't need a single leveling block to park our RV when we got here and were close to all our favourite outdoor rec spaces. Hope is close for ammenities and it's easy access to the highway for anyone looking to get out and adventure right away. Sites are nice and big as well so its easy to set up a great outdoor space to relax

I have a hard time writing reviews like this when the people running it are nice. But this place is so noisy from the trains which run directly on one side and they pass often, sometimes every 15 minutes…even at night! I am not exaggerating about this. Some of the train horns go off like a bomb is dropping. There is a crossroad at the end of the campsite which requires the trains to blow the whistle exactly as the train passes the RV site (hence the name “Whistle Stop”). There were times at night where I was jolted out of sleep and my pets would even jump as well. If you’re talking during the train passing you have to stop because you can’t hear the other person…it’s that bad! Add to this that along the opposite side of the rv park is the very busy number 1 highway. It is literally running about 20 ft from where the trailers park, with no fence…in my opinion a tragedy waiting to happen especially when the roads ice up. Semi trucks fly by at 100 kph or more and are very noisy as well. There are mostly long term renters, many impoverished. Several had parties while I was there which were literally so loud I couldn’t hear my television. When I confronted them they said if I am tolerating the trains why shouldn’t I tolerate their music. As others have said, there is nothing to do. No pool. No playground. No games room. No laundry. No wifi. No dog park. No full time office staff or groundskeepers/maintenance as other parks do (they are available by phone). I think the owners may be investing in some of these things and I feel for them because they are young and I can see they’ve invested in trying to improve it. But honestly it wouldn’t matter for me even if it had all those things because the noise from the trains/highway/neighbours became absolutely unbearable. If you like sleep and peace and quiet during the day this is not the place. I would stay elsewhere (there are a number of more established sites very close by with more amenities) and I would only recommend this place if it was an absolute emergency.

We had an amazing stay at Whistle Stop RV! The park is beautifully maintained, spacious, and incredibly clean. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our site had plenty of room, great hookups, and easy access to local attractions. We especially loved the peaceful surroundings and well-kept facilities. Definitely one of the best RV experiences we’ve had in BC – we’ll be coming back for sure!🙂

This campground will be great soon after completing complete update. I was here about 8 years ago. Now, they are doing fabulous job updating everything. Sites are very wide. X1.5 times wider than most RV campground. Only one thing is that it is located by the highway. Everything else will be great once it completd. I will come vacation again...
