We were only able to stay for one night and we were sad to leave. The weather was a respite from the heat and the star gazing cannot be beat. We sat and stared at the setting sun and listened to nothing but nature. It was refreshing and just what we needed. Need a place to escape the heat and get in touch with all nature has to offer? This is the place! Service was great and we knew exactly what to expect. Wonderful experience!

We always dry camp or boondock when we go up to the mountains. This trip i wanted to go to an area I hadnt been to. I came across Basecamp RV Park and it looked ideal. 10 minutes outside of town. Located in a valley off the 260 was a great spot. Spaces are large. The shower and restroom facilities were great. A perfect mix of camping away from town but with facilities. The owners have great communication prior to arrival and during check in. We had a tire blow out on our trailer they followed up with us to check if we were good or needed any local assistance. They toured the park Friday night thanking everyone for staying, handed out Kettle Corn with a card thanking you for staying there over the 4th of July Weekend. I will definately stay there again.

We stayed at Basecamp for 3 nights over July 4th weekend in a tent site with water and electricity We were met by the camp host upon arrival and she was welcoming and guided us to our site. Very shortly after we arrived the owners of the campground came over and loaned us an extension cord and let us know to reach out if we needed anything. The site was large and clean and we had a great time. The location is perfect for night sky viewing - quiet and secluded. The owners came around and gave everyone a bag of kettle corn with a note thanking us for staying - such a nice gesture. The owners are fairly new to this property but there are making improvements and are there and visible and involved. I look forward to coming back next summer to see how this have changed. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this campground. The grounds were clean, well-maintenance The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions. The campsites were spacious and provided a nice balance of privacy and convenience. The campground offered restrooms and showers, they were clean and well cared for throughout our stay. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful weekend getaway or a base for outdoor adventures, this campground is an excellent choice. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
