I really enjoyed our camping trip last weekend. We didn't see any racoons but we did see the cutest little chipmunks! Our kids loved playing in the river. The train at night is really the only downside.

Wish the website had better info on camping-style of this campground, it is tent camping ,bathrooms very clean, campsites are tent sites we showed up with a trailer, I wish the website would have said that. the sites are nicely spaced out but the highway and the train track are so close it makes it extremely noisy site 72 was supposed to be double parking as you can see in the photo there is no room to park a second vehicle side-by-side, the lake was drained could not use any boat launches again not enough info on the website

Gorgeous gorgeous campground. Will definitely be staying here again. River access, and just nestled among the beautiful trees. Stayed in site 073.

Nice campground along the Willamette River. Our site was number 42, hard to find but very large and no visible neighbors. No flush toilets and had to hike a ways to pit toilets from our site. Also a bit noisy with road traffic and trains.

Peaceful, and free but most sites are closed, I don't know for how long.

One of the best campgrounds in the West Cascades. Old growth, Willamette river, boat ramp, 90 some sites. Only 45 minutes from Eugene. It is on hwy 58, but from the river sites it's not noticeable. And to us, the train across the river is definitely a plus.

A beautiful day. Alone again I had the empty campground to myself...until the park ranger spotted me, just as I was finishing up. I had just driven thru the park taking several pictures. At that time I didn't know about Maps Local Guide app. So here I am to let you all know it's such an awesome place to go!

Great place, close to towns, clean outhouses, amazing photo opps, giant trees & river swimming. Super nice camp hosts. The best thing about this campground is, that a bunch of the spaces are far apart & secluded. We loved the quiet peace at night & no critters got into our stuff. We put all our food, inside the cars at night, so I am certain that helped. Tons of walking trails & if you're a patient rockhound, there are treasures to be found. The water is clear & cool & there is a sandy beach to hang out on. There is also an amphitheater. I adore this campground & will return.

They have sites that are wheelchair friendly with paved paths to the site's main camping area from parking area. The restroom is conveniently located near sites. The hosts are very accommodating and keep this campground clean. It's a large campground with a information walking path that winds around the area with little information plaques along the way. I could not find any wood bundles in town so I asked host if they had any and they did. 4 for $20 or $6 ea. We asked for 2, he went and got us 2, said they were on the house. There are several sites for the handicapped, one that has access to a beach on the river. The parking spots have the handicap insignia painted on the asphalt so please all of us not miss, let's not take those spots when we camp there. The insignias are faded so please look closely before you pick your site. Thank you.🙂 Had a great 4 day experience even with the rain.👍
