This is an awesome spot just about 1.5 hours outside of Vegas if you’re looking to hit the water! I usually launch my paddle boards here and head toward the Hoover Dam. You do have to pay a fee to get in, but if you plan on coming more than once it’s more cost efficient to buy a yearly pass! Along the way, you’ll pass the historic ruins of a house, complete with a plaque detailing its history. You can still see the pulleys, wooden walkways along the rocks, and a watchtower. Fun fact: this was the original site planned for the Hoover Dam, but it was moved upstream due to a visible fault line! Emerald Cave is about an hour paddle upstream, and the water inside is absolutely beautiful (check out the video I attached for @trashclvss). Across the river, there’s also Echo Cave, which is worth exploring. There are plenty of spots to pull off and hang out, plus lots of rocks to jump from! Keep in mind, the water is always cold, but after a few jumps in and out, your body adjusts. Be sure to look at the mountains, there are frequently mountain goats there!! It’s always such a fun adventure exploring the Colorado River!

Will Creek Marina was so good. There was fishing in the fishing area was clean. People were catching lots of fish. There was boating. Everybody was respectful. The weather was perfect. There was plenty of parking for boats and campers. The showers and bathrooms were immaculate. There were people living on sitethat were cleaning up constantly trimming bushes manicuring the entire campground. The water was crystal clear and it wasn’t crowded with people.

Great place to go for the day if you want to get out of the heat. Water stays about 58. Nothing feels better when it’s 110 outside. Easy to launch a boat. Easy parking, there is a marina store if you forget something, camp ground with bbq pits, kayak and paddle boards and you can board up to pirates cove.

You truly will be thankful if you stay here. Well maintained. Colorado River nearby to enjoy. Boats and kayak rentals. Store on site. Cafe on the property. Very beautiful part of Arizona.

First time visiting. Very nice. Water was clear and looked clean. Got there at 8am on a Sunday. There was already lots of people but plenty of parking. We went for fishing but no bites. Seem like a weekend's a bad day to go fishing there. Too many people boating, paddle boards, swimming, making noise. Having fun but not great for fishing. There were people fishing off the docks but I did not see anybody catch anything.

Nice Marina. There’s a boat ramp, the store offers rentals. There’s a fishing pier and swim area . There’s also a fish cleaning area closer to the boat sanitation station. Also a nice lookout. You gotta climb a few steps to get there.

When you visit this place, you know there is a God! This place has the most beautiful emerald green water. On the edge of the water, you could see straight through like it isCrystal water. I absolutely love the tranquil feel of this place and the magnificent beauty of it. The drive to this location is absolutely beautiful and very scenic. I realize that most lakes are kind of diminishing currently; I pray that this one doesn’t. I would love to own a boat and put it in that marina.

Willow Beach, located along the Colorado River in Arizona, is a hidden gem that offers a blend of serene natural beauty and outdoor activities. Known for its stunning desert landscapes and crystal-clear waters, it is a popular spot for kayaking, boating, and fishing, particularly for striped bass and rainbow trout. The beach features well-maintained facilities, including picnic areas and a marina with boat rentals. Its proximity to the Hoover Dam and Black Canyon makes it an excellent spot for a day trip or a peaceful getaway. Visitors often praise the scenic views, wildlife sightings, and the overall tranquility of the area. Whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation, Willow Beach provides a perfect escape into nature.

So gorgeous here! I highly recommend bringing your kayak or paddle board and taking it out here on the water! Make sure you check the weather before heading over there with your water toys. Heads up motor vehicles are not allowed on the water Sundays or Mondays throughout the whole year so plan accordingly. Water feels absolutely amazing especially on a hot day!

This place is a hidden gem. I fell in love with this place as soon as I saw it.. Now they do offer boat rentals such as kayaks party boats and other type of boats. All the ladies inside the building where you can where you can do your rental will vary polite and Very professional.. The water was very calm that day and I enjoy it my kayaking for the very 1st time period. Now I do recommend that you do make reservations if you like to have any type of rental service. They do get very busy on the weekends here week out there about 8:30 which was a very good time the lake was very calm and there was not a lot of people there so we had the lake to ourselves. This is a place that you would not want to miss or put on your bucket list to visit.

I don't like to give campgrounds high ratings because that invites more people, that's selfishness on my account I admit. The staff there is super friendly, the RV park is beautiful and can't wait to stay there. I am booked.

Super clean. Quiet. Seems really well staffed. The only problem i had was with an unregistered, slightly drunk man who came and parked after registration was closed. Park store was decent; had more souvenirs than necessary items.

OMG. So so so beautiful. Great staff in the office to rent watercraft. If you're lucky, Russell will be there to help you with the boat. You'll earn a secret bonus if you ask Russell about his radio days. Rented a nice motorized boat one day and a K2 kayak the second day. Highly recommended that you go mid-week and avoid the weekends. Camped 2 nights with super facilities. Reserve your spot, get a park pass for discounts on camping, and be prepared for 52 degree water and 100+ hot days in the summer. I went with my dear gal in early September.
