The staff at this KOA are top notch! I’ll call out Britney (?) and Janet personally as they made our experience more than we could have ever hoped for! The personal tips about the park let us directly to the wildlife we were hoping to see. Our site was amazing! Highly recommend this KOA for your time in Yellowstone and Grand Tetons!

When we arrived at our spot, I thought being backed up the the loud highway was going to be a big deal. Looking back, that was the least of our issues. The campground has roughly 600 campsites and cabins, with 2 working bathouses (the third was closed in preparation for winter). The campground was PACKED. The bathrooms were disgusting. Used showers as sparingly as possible. The first time was 2 days into my stay- filthy. Drain full of hair a sludge. Second time was on our 4th night. There were flies completely invading the bathouse. I'm not talking about a lot of flies- I mean thousands. When I told someone, she said it's because it was 'fly season'. Their only solution was to take the trash out- saying it's because someone threw food in there. Had anyone paid attention to the state of the facilities and cleaned them, it wouldn't be like that, each shower stall had no less than a hundred flies. I got a flyswatter from my van and returned to shower (but strongly considered skipping shower again because of the disgusting state of it). When I got into a stall (it happened to be the same one I used 2 days earlier), the same dropped bar of soap from days earlier was there, along with the same hair and sludge in the drain. Restroom sign says cleaning 'as needed'. Lies. Clogged toilets, no soap at sinks, poop smears on toilets remaining for days. It is obvious that no one cleans the bathrooms. If you're considering booking- don't. If you're already here and you HAVE to shower- don't drop anything you can't live without, don't lean on the walls, don't touch anything, and for the love of God- wear shower shoes.

The showers and bathrooms were clean. The coffee stand was nice and had a decent variety. The store was well stocked with friendly staff. The indoor pool was great and the playground was awesome. The dog park was really nice with a great covered seating area. Great location. Close to Yellowstone. The little mining set up is adorable.

Well first off the staff was absolutely wonderful, the breakfast was a good value, the cabin and showers and bathrooms were immaculate. Beautiful location, that provided excellent value. For my other night in Yellowstone I had planned for different accommodations, which fell through… the staff was able to add an additional night for me which was perfect. Every night we were visited by the resident owl population. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here during a family vacation to Yellowstone. The proximity is fantastic. The amenities are top notch! They had everything we needed down to the coffee hut. All the staff was amazing including the gentleman that filled our propane tank! Loved having the porch with a swing at our site as well as the fire pit. Tiffany at the front desk was so helpful, sweet and nice…just loved her!! We had our 2 pups with us so we took advantage of both off leash dog parks they had. The only thing I wish they’d had was a jacuzzi, but was told they’d gotten rid of it during c@v!d.
