The staff at this KOA are top notch! I’ll call out Britney (?) and Janet personally as they made our experience more than we could have ever hoped for! The personal tips about the park let us directly to the wildlife we were hoping to see. Our site was amazing! Highly recommend this KOA for your time in Yellowstone and Grand Tetons!

When we arrived at our spot, I thought being backed up the the loud highway was going to be a big deal. Looking back, that was the least of our issues. The campground has roughly 600 campsites and cabins, with 2 working bathouses (the third was closed in preparation for winter). The campground was PACKED. The bathrooms were disgusting. Used showers as sparingly as possible. The first time was 2 days into my stay- filthy. Drain full of hair a sludge. Second time was on our 4th night. There were flies completely invading the bathouse. I'm not talking about a lot of flies- I mean thousands. When I told someone, she said it's because it was 'fly season'. Their only solution was to take the trash out- saying it's because someone threw food in there. Had anyone paid attention to the state of the facilities and cleaned them, it wouldn't be like that, each shower stall had no less than a hundred flies. I got a flyswatter from my van and returned to shower (but strongly considered skipping shower again because of the disgusting state of it). When I got into a stall (it happened to be the same one I used 2 days earlier), the same dropped bar of soap from days earlier was there, along with the same hair and sludge in the drain. Restroom sign says cleaning 'as needed'. Lies. Clogged toilets, no soap at sinks, poop smears on toilets remaining for days. It is obvious that no one cleans the bathrooms. If you're considering booking- don't. If you're already here and you HAVE to shower- don't drop anything you can't live without, don't lean on the walls, don't touch anything, and for the love of God- wear shower shoes.

The showers and bathrooms were clean. The coffee stand was nice and had a decent variety. The store was well stocked with friendly staff. The indoor pool was great and the playground was awesome. The dog park was really nice with a great covered seating area. Great location. Close to Yellowstone. The little mining set up is adorable.

Well first off the staff was absolutely wonderful, the breakfast was a good value, the cabin and showers and bathrooms were immaculate. Beautiful location, that provided excellent value. For my other night in Yellowstone I had planned for different accommodations, which fell through… the staff was able to add an additional night for me which was perfect. Every night we were visited by the resident owl population. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here during a family vacation to Yellowstone. The proximity is fantastic. The amenities are top notch! They had everything we needed down to the coffee hut. All the staff was amazing including the gentleman that filled our propane tank! Loved having the porch with a swing at our site as well as the fire pit. Tiffany at the front desk was so helpful, sweet and nice…just loved her!! We had our 2 pups with us so we took advantage of both off leash dog parks they had. The only thing I wish they’d had was a jacuzzi, but was told they’d gotten rid of it during c@v!d.

Great location for West gate Yellowstone National Park! Close to cute town, restaurants and shopping. Our site, wasn’t great, muddy and puddled with the snow and rain, took us extra time, to get ready when trying to leave, because of the mud, needs lots of gravel at our site, so many trees, could not get satellite, and their cable has no local channels. Indoor pool, lots of activities for kids, they have breakfast and dinner available, outside seating. May stay again, if we can get a different site, very busy and full, as we were not able to move to another site. High priced campground, maybe because of location and time of year.

Probably the best KOA we have stayed at! Spent 3 nights here and enjoyed it so much we wanted to stay longer. The indoor heated pool was a hit with the kids. The playgrounds were also great. The store and laundry facilities were good. Staff were super helpful and kind. Super easy drive to the west entrance to Yellowstone and into town. We had the amazing treat of having a raven nest in the tree of our site. Got to see the parent birds feeding the baby birds. Was a huge joy for us as ravens are a family favorite animal. Sites are close together but that’s pretty standard for RV parks. Wasn’t an issue as we had great neighbors and everyone followed camp etiquette. Only advice I would say is to bring a screen tent and deet bug spray with you as the mosquitoes are very prominent at night.

I book KOA campgrounds when traveling for two main reasons. There are activities for the kids and the bathrooms are usually plentiful and clean. This one has plenty of activities for the kids. It could really use more bathroom and shower capacity. I understand waiting for a free shower during the busy times of day, but when there's a line for a urinal you know there's a problem.

Located a few miles from the west gate and town. The site we got was parking forward rather than back in for the hook ups. It was not a pull through as they had a car with a tent in front of us. The forward parking wasn’t so bad but it was not level and we were placed at end of row where a work office/house and extra parking was located which created allot of traffic and dust. It’s probably awesome if you have several kids and staying for a few days but just an ok KOA for couples.

These guys go out of their way to make sure you’re 100% happy! Some of the sites slope either to the left or the right, my auto leveling lifted my tires off the ground. I did not bring any leveling blocks for the tires. I went to purchase some upfront, but they did not have any.. They physically showed me three other sites, which were about the same. They went and looked for some blocks and found some 2 x 6 wood that worked out perfect? These guys Are awesome

When I arrived I was faced with a manager wearing a kilt that thought he was Braveheart . Total control freak and he was quite condescending. Once I maneuvered around him it was ok

I feel as though the staff judged me from the moment I walked in the door. I am a boondicker and decided to stop here to pay to dump and fill water. I was denied service due to city ordinances, per rep at counter. Will not give KOA any patronage from this day forward. Support your local mom and pop.
