It's a spartan strip of gravel on the river. The prices were a bit steep for what is offered. I was headed south through the park so this was one of the few options.$133.00 per night for a back in. The staff is nice. I realize it's a tourist economy but when I go that way again I'll stay in one of the other parks down valley. Paradise Valley is worth the trip. Gardiner did nothing for me at all.

Great location to Yellowstone National Park with easy access to the North Entrance. Campground is well maintained and has quarter operated washer and dryers which is so great after long days of hiking around Yellowstone!

Pretty basic campground, great location right next to the entrance of Yellowstone park. The toilet & showers are very good, the laundry room is easy to use and they’ll change for coins up in the office if you need :) There’s also picnic table for each RV. **There’s no WiFi but there is cellular network reception.

Great location for Yellowstone, no hassle getting in and out of our site. We checked in late and left early. It was a great jumping off point for us. Hookups were great, sites were good size and we enjoy our stay!!

This is our go-to place in Yellowstone. Actually it's across the river from Yellowstone National Park, so when you back up to the river, you actually get to watch the osprey fish in the river, and the "Chamber of Commerce" elk - they are almost tame, and frequently come into the campground at dusk to feed on the vegetation. Gardiner is easily accessible to the Northern Entrance of Yellowstone, and if you're interested in the animals (we are), it's the easiest place to go in and out with full services and without being crammed in like a bunch of Sardines. Of course Yellowstone is a huge draw, but going north toward Livingston, follows the river and you can see many eagles perched on their branches fishing the river. There is plenty of room to maneuver. Our RV had a broken leaf spring, and the only way to fix it was to put it on a huge truck bed and haul (not tow) it to Livingston. There was plenty of room in the park to do all the maneuvering needed to haul the RV out of the park. We got it fixed in one day (that's another review on Google), and we were back that night with no problems. We stayed for two weeks. We unhooked our truck, and we had to be a little careful where we parked it. We had full hookups, and there was no problem with any of the hookups. We had a picnic table. The sky was clear enough that we got a good Starlink signal, but a large shade tree was in the back. One evening, an elk came by to sample some of the lower leaves. The laundry is clean and the machines work well. The staff is very friendly and always helpful, and we needed a lot of help with our leaf spring repair. The sites are snug, but not overly tight. There is an area west of the park where you can walk your dog, and see more of the river's edge. We have stayed here for 7 years, one or two times a year, and have never been disappointed in the view, the condition of the park, the staff, or any of the services (laundry, bath, etc.), at this park.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. We had a great experience tent camping at Yellowstone RV Park! The tent site was spacious and well-maintained, giving us plenty of room to relax. The bathrooms were clean and tidy, which is always a big plus. Our tent was near the river—it was a bit loud, but the sound made for a peaceful and restful night’s sleep. Highly recommend this spot for a comfortable and scenic camping experience!

Great location just outside Gardner on the river. Very close to the North entrance of Yellowstone. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry are great. Good WiFi Momma elk and her calf joined us for dinner as we sat outside at our picnic table. Linda was super nice and helpful in the office.

Loved our stay at this campground! It is quaint, clean & on the Yellowstone River. The location is perfect, right outside of the North entrance of Yellowstone NP. We saw 80% of the park while based here. It was convenient and less crowded. There are 2 bath houses, one at each end. It is VERY clean and have nice, hot showers! There is a laundry room. Some sites are pull through. The sites next to the river are back-in. There is on-site management (4 people). This place is so very well maintained. Thank you for making our anniversary trip special!

If you’re looking to enter Yellowstone through the Montana (North end) than this is a great location to stay! The entrance of Yellowstone from the Tetons looks more like the Rocky Mountains. This entrance from Montana looks more like Yellowstone -the TV show. Both gorgeous in their own ways. This is also the quickest way to get to the Serengeti of Yellowstone (where all the bison live). The RV park itself is situated right along the Yellowstone River! It’s beautiful. The staff is amazing! Very accommodating. The wifi is surprisingly good! The grounds are clean and pretty! Super close to all of the fun shopping/restaurants/etc. in town too! We will stay here again without a doubt!

This park is lovely! The people are friendly, the grounds, restrooms and laundry are clean and well maintained. The location is great for accessing the North entrance to Yellowstone. This is a plus after a great day spotting animals and seeing the wonderful geothermal sites. Stop by and spend some time here. You will be glad you did.
