This place is false advertising. We stayed 2 weeks ago due to the online amenities. There were no golf cart rentals, no firewood, no arcade, we didn’t even have a picnic table at our site, and the pedal carts hadn’t been maintained in a VERY long time. My children couldn’t even push the pedals down. Not to mention it looked like people had been living at the sites for a very long time (which is fine), but it looked very dirty. We traveled pretty far to get here to pull up to a dump. To top it all off, the front desk lady knew absolutely nothing. No help what’s so ever. Don’t waist your time going here. You’ll be disappointed.

The web page is deceiving. Got there and first thing was they are no longer Good Sam's. Also the sheet and map they give you clearly emphasizes that they are NOT responsible if their tiny spaces are not level and they are not there to help you fit into a space or help you level out. If you are a big rig and you can't level out and open slides , well too bad. This park is great for kids, but definately not big rig friendly. They took me to 4 sites before we found one that was level enough to open, but with rear tire off the ground. First and last time here.

As a full timer for the last 3 years, I have to comment on this campground being one of the worst. We have stayed at hundreds of campgrounds from coast to coast. The only reason I'm not giving a lower rating is I know they are in a owner change position. The staff was helpful but the day we were scheduled to depart, my wife had a morning meeting at a local hospital were her Mother was admitted. She was contacted by a staff member which reminded her checkout was at 12. We left about 10 minutes late due to the meeting. She tried to explain with no concern of our personal issue by a staffer. The circle paths that takes you around to the sites have pot holes big enough to do damage to your tires and vehicles. The drainage system needs improvement and the mud from rain was awful. The sites need gravel applied more often and properly scrapped on a weekly basis. We found a much better campground 45 minutes north in Cave Spring GA. We are close to my mother in laws hospital and feel more welcomed at our new location. I will not stay here again when in our home town area.

I cannot say enough about the people working at the camp! First, I pulled into the road(private driveway) prior to the camp, then I called asking for help to get me backed up and on the road. They came out to assist! I had actually backed up with the encouragement of their neighbors however, they stopped the traffic and gave me instructions on how to pull onto to the road, because of the position I was in. Once there, the site was a pull through, but I was concerned on how I would get out in the morning. They found the perfect spot, all while being so kind and patient. I can't thank them enough for their kindness, just knowing they were coming to help put my mind at ease!

I want to start out with the good. They keep the kids busy here. We stayed for 2 nights and the kids always had something to do. The main building was kept up and all of the facilities looked nice. The staff was great and made sure everyone was happy. They have a dog area where our dog was able to run and play. The live animals were also great for the kids. They loved every minute there. The not so good: The sites were not very level and was a little cramped for our liking. The only other thing I would call out is there are some sites on the back side of the camp that are completely piled with trash which is an eye sore when driving by. I am guessing these sites are people that are living there. We paid around $84 a night and for that price it is not something you would expect to see at a "resort". I know every location has its sets of problems and I will say the good out weighed the bad. Some clean up of the campgrounds and fresh gravel will go a long way for the extra star.
