Every year i come to Yogi bear campground in Madison, Maine and my experiences here isn't great. they never clean the pool, the propane for the grill is always empty as well as half used bottles of soap. Not to mention how every room is never clean, the beds and showers are always filthy and the Tvs never work, the people who "come and fix it" never know what they are doing and ask you to help them when they should be fixing it. no one should have to pay ridiculous prices for something like this.

My kids and I go here every for about 13yrs now. We always have the best time. It is under new ownership and so far they've been great. Its a great location with lots to do both at the campground and around historic Skowhegan. The trampoline park is right down the road for the rainy days. They always have a day and night time activity to do. Very family friendly and just an awesome time for the kids.

We really enjoyed the tranquility and the easy access to activities. The only thing I would mention is that the children's activities lacked a bit of magic. The mascots were present, but there wasn’t much interaction, and there was no music during the train ride or around the site in general. That being said, the staff seemed polite and welcoming. We had our RV, so I didn’t check the state of the restrooms, but the RV lots were clean and well maintained. We didn’t encounter any problems during our stay.

We had a really good weekend here at Jellystone. We got to choose our location when we booked. The store, activities, and especially the pool were awesome. Even on a really busy 85 degree Saturday when there were 40 people at the pool it felt like it wasn’t too crowded. Our only negative experience had to do with location. We camped at site 18 and it’s adjacent to the really busy road. Not only is the road busy but it’s right at the camp entrance when splits to two lanes where people are stomping on it to pass people. When you’re trying to disconnect and relax it wasn’t the most enjoyable addition to our stay. I can’t dock the review as we didn’t know. We will be back and try to book something farther from the road.

Kids love going to yogibear. We just came back from a weekend trip and the kids had a blast. However since new ownership there are things advertised online that they no longer have. They do not have laser tag, inflatables, and the activities seem to be sparse now. They used to be every hour-two now it’s a few hours in between. The pool is definitely kid friendly and fun, you feel safe camping here with your children. One of our favorite spots with little ones. Arcade, barrel rides, and seeing the characters are always kids favorites.
