Every year i come to Yogi bear campground in Madison, Maine and my experiences here isn't great. they never clean the pool, the propane for the grill is always empty as well as half used bottles of soap. Not to mention how every room is never clean, the beds and showers are always filthy and the Tvs never work, the people who "come and fix it" never know what they are doing and ask you to help them when they should be fixing it. no one should have to pay ridiculous prices for something like this.

My kids and I go here every for about 13yrs now. We always have the best time. It is under new ownership and so far they've been great. Its a great location with lots to do both at the campground and around historic Skowhegan. The trampoline park is right down the road for the rainy days. They always have a day and night time activity to do. Very family friendly and just an awesome time for the kids.

We really enjoyed the tranquility and the easy access to activities. The only thing I would mention is that the children's activities lacked a bit of magic. The mascots were present, but there wasn’t much interaction, and there was no music during the train ride or around the site in general. That being said, the staff seemed polite and welcoming. We had our RV, so I didn’t check the state of the restrooms, but the RV lots were clean and well maintained. We didn’t encounter any problems during our stay.

We had a really good weekend here at Jellystone. We got to choose our location when we booked. The store, activities, and especially the pool were awesome. Even on a really busy 85 degree Saturday when there were 40 people at the pool it felt like it wasn’t too crowded. Our only negative experience had to do with location. We camped at site 18 and it’s adjacent to the really busy road. Not only is the road busy but it’s right at the camp entrance when splits to two lanes where people are stomping on it to pass people. When you’re trying to disconnect and relax it wasn’t the most enjoyable addition to our stay. I can’t dock the review as we didn’t know. We will be back and try to book something farther from the road.

Kids love going to yogibear. We just came back from a weekend trip and the kids had a blast. However since new ownership there are things advertised online that they no longer have. They do not have laser tag, inflatables, and the activities seem to be sparse now. They used to be every hour-two now it’s a few hours in between. The pool is definitely kid friendly and fun, you feel safe camping here with your children. One of our favorite spots with little ones. Arcade, barrel rides, and seeing the characters are always kids favorites.

My family and I come here every year have been for a while this year we rented a cabin. Right around 600$ we got to the cabin it was gross. We swept and moped the floors when we got there the following day we went to use are grill and the propane tank was empty this is the grill the camp provides. It was 7 at night and the camp store is closed so off we go to buy a whole new propane tank cause we didn’t have an exchange and we aren’t using there’s.the next day I ask to speak with the manager of the camp. She immediately was very rude and offered 20$ back to me for my issues we had. She was extremely rude has no idea how to run a campground. Will not be coming back here. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Camped there this week. Got to out site they had us on a spot that was completely mud. They switched out site to another. ( the next day they put another family in the same muddy spot even though there were plenty other available). The bathrooms were nasty the entire time. Showers had no hot water. The pool was good, kids like the barrel ride and tractor ride. The foam party was ok but not great. I’ve heard such great things about this campground for years. I was very let down by the overall experience. Luckily the kids enjoyed it for the most part.

Staff members have been amazing during our stay. The facilities are always clean and anything that was brought to managements attention was immediately addressed. Our kids have enjoyed all the activities and can’t wait to come back next year.

This place is a favorite of my kids so we usually stay a couple times a year but not this year. Since it was sold the campground has gone downhill and the rates keep going up. Bathrooms are rarely clean, activities are canceled, inflatable water slide was just plain gone. There's no pride of ownership anymore. We started visiting privately owned campgrounds and have been much happier.

Amazing camping, just don't get the tent site by the road. It's loud and mean dogs live next door.

Amazing time. Really awesome pool. Easy access plugs for your electronics. Lots of trails. Yogi Bear Express is awesome. Childhood memories came back. Campsites have a lot of space for your tent, car and a picnic table.

We had an amazing time. The staff were very accommodating and polite. The grounds were very clean and well marked trails and amenities. So much for the granddaughters to do. Keep up the good work Jeff and family. We were there the first week you owned the place and to see what you have done is amazing! I would recommend this to everyone.

We checked in a Sunday afternoon. All employees encountered are very friendly. It's got to take patience dealing with campers 24/7. $170 for three nights. Absolutely worth it if you're a camper. Daily activities, so much so I had to schedule pool time . Whoa Arcade is a little out dated , still took advantage and played pool, air hockey and big buck hunter. My 7 year old was entertained and so was the 12 and 14 yr old with basketball, Gaga ball and all other activities they have. Free breakfast and lunch for kids which is super helpful. Our campsite was perfectly located across bathrooms a path right to the pool, the bouncy house station and rec hall. I could go on about our Adirondack shelter , dogs being allowed, and on and on ... I'll just say this. If you're tired of searching for the campsite for your family , stop searching and stay here .
