This was my second visit and my first visit in over three years. Wow I’m disappointed…this campground is still very scenic but The amenities have gone downhill big time. We were there for Halloween weekend and everything now cost money and the quality is not there anymore. Some of the stuff on the schedule that was supposed to happen like not so scary haunted house was not even available. I booked two premium tent sites and they were horrible. The padding was nothing but rocks and it made for a very uncomfortable experience when walking in your tent with no shoes. I told the front desk this and they just looked at me and said oh really. . For almost $600 for four days with a golf cart ( golf cart I got was in bad condition )you would think that you get better service than this. My first day I had to notify Julie about the bathrooms because they were a complete disaster. Overall, it is a very nice piece of property, but I think the customer service and things like the campgrounds needs some major attention. Probably won’t be back to this jellystone unfortunately…

We had so much fun at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park Yogi 19 in Pelahatchie MS! Super clean cabin, easy check in process & very friendly staff. The Halloween vibe is my favorite time of year. Highly recommend. A great spot to just relax, eat yummy food and sit by the fire pit.

I’m really torn. We absolutely love this campground. It’s so much fun and for the most part the service is great. They have lots of fun activities. The haunted trail is a hit. The kids absolutely love it.

Really the only downfall is on our day of checking out, we’ve decided to just go grab breakfast in the café as it would be easier. There was only one person working in the café in the back cooking. And they had nothing no food. They had no eggs. No hashbrowns. No chocolate milk. Every time we ordered something they were out of it. Or we would order something and then they would come back and say they ran out of it and they didn’t have it and we had to pick something else. And apparently they got a new system so you can’t get a refund because they don’t know how to so you have to pick something else which they may or may not have. And then on top of it with the new system, they don’t know how to split payments. So the kids won a couple contests like pumpkin carving, and stuff like that and got these little certificates to use in the café and in the gift shop and when we tried to use it, they couldn’t use the certificate and then pay the balance with a credit card or cash. It was a little frustrating. And unfortunate. But the lady behind the register was really sweet and you can tell she felt terrible.

Beyond that we absolutely love this campground.

We just left from our first ever visit for Halloween and to celebrate my daughter's 2nd birthday. We had a FANTASTIC time! We will definitely be back!! The pool and water slide was very clean and the kids throughly enjoyed it, even while shivering haha. The breakfast in the Cafe was so yummy- get the breakfast burrito! We went back this morning but we were late for breakfast so we ate lunch and that was delicious as well. Our cabin was the perfect size for my family. It was very clean and was supplied with everything we needed to cook with. The staff was very helpful and engaging. Ms.Alana helped us with booking and scheduled our bear visits prior to our arrival. She was veryyyy helpful and kind.  It was great to put a face to the person I had been communicating with over facebook. Mrs.Stephanie helped us with our arrival and took care of last minute changes. Then you have Ms.Bridgette who was  phenomenal!! Mrs.Bridgette went above and beyond to make our experience everything it was and more. We are excited to book another trip to go see our favorite bears and this amazing staff we can call friends!

We had a wonderful and amazing time. We took our daughter and our 2 grandbabies along with us and had a blast. Seeing them have so much fun at the splash pad/slides was the best fun and they went so many times up and down the slides that they would be ready to take naps at the end of the day. They each told us in their little voices, ( 4 and 7 yrs old) “Gigi and Pop, “This is the best vacation ever.” To hear that and see their excitement and to know what fun that had, was worth everything to us.” The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The nicest people you’d ever want to meet. I highly recommend going and your family won’t be disappointed at all. You’ll make memories to last a lifetime and we will be going back.

This was our first time ever being here . And This was hands down the best experience. If there is a negative review OVERLOOK IT.
Everyone here is fantastic and went above and beyond to be accommodating! Stephanie is the manager and she is so fantastic and she cares about every detail here . The teens they have working here are hard workers which you don’t see that much in the younger generation. They all showed so much patience  . Avery was one of the workers there and  very kind and helpful and she even saw her friend (another employee there I believe his name was Conner ? )(he was excellent to )  needing help and she stayed even after she clocked out just to help him clean ! They had to deal with a crowd and they did it with out complaining and such grace ! The people at the cafe offered to stay open a few more minutes for us to get ice cream so we could run and grab something real fast . ! I didn’t get all the employees names we encountered and that helped us but they were all great .. Just all and all the best experience for a great price and family fun ! I will come back as much as I can

The beginning of our stay started out with having a dispute with the young lady (Angie) in the cartoon cafe about our $70 dollar pizzas that took two hours to be ready (due to phone in orders taking priority was the excuse given), we placed our order at 530 pm when they first opened (they were suppose to open at 5pm but were running behind) we were the 2nd group to order, we ordered 3 pizzas, 1 hour went by and our buzzer went off to go get our food, we got up there and the worker informed us that they didn’t have pepperoni and that she only had 1 pizza cooking, so we go back to the pool, at 7pm a worker came by to tell us it was time to go they were closing the pool, we informed her we were just wanting for our food we ordered at 530, she goes to the cafe to be told she is working on our pizza and it would be another 15 minutes (at this point we just asked to cancel our order because the wait time was m ridiculous, she said rudely that she couldn’t cancel it because she was working on it already, so we asked to speak to a manager she said with an attitude “you can walk across the street to Ranger station and find her” so we tried but no one was there because they were closed for the night) at this point there are 3 or 4 families waiting, we ask how long they have been waiting and they said 25 mins, they got their food before us! Around 730 we finally get our pizza (2 hours later) we asked for a receipt and she informed us she wasn’t allowed to give receipts?
The next day we tried to do the events but they were very unorganized and not well planned, we witnessed a staff member yell at an employee over keys in front of the entire hey ride (which was full of people), our hey hey ride broke down and we waited 30 min for it to be switched, we tried to participate in the activities but they either didn’t have all of the items needed for the activity or some of the workers didn’t know what activities were suppose to be happening. We went to go to the egg hunt for the children and we were told we had to have our wrist bands on (which we did, except our son who wasn’t required to wear one) the manger told us he was required to put it on or he wouldn’t be allowed to participate in the egg hunt even thought we told her he was 2 and then she repeated rudely that he won’t be able to participate unless he wears it, we run back to the cabin get his wrist band and make him wear it, for her to tell others they don’t have to have it. The cartoon cafe hours were not the same as listed online and they were not posted at the cafe, they didn’t have many items that were listed on the menu (no big deal we made due with what we brought and what they had). Our golf carts parking break only worked occasionally, but it was nice that they offered them as it was good to have.  There were not any instructions at all on what needed to be done upon check out, and when we checked out the office wasn’t opened (check out is 11am but they didn’t open until 12pm), so we had to find the worker cleaning cabins to ask her. We also did have some issues with our cabin like the door not locking. We understand that people have bad days and that the staff is only human but the customer service here could be worked on.We did have a good time the last day, the kids loved the pool, the fishing, gem mining, the playground and put put golf. Julie (JuJu) was absolutely amazing to us and her sweet tea was delicious. Chandler went above and beyond for us and was so sweet! Stephanie on our last day there was super nice and helpful! Josh and the kitchen staff were very nice and made great food! The egg hunt for the kids was nice and the adult egg hunt and prizes was a great touch for the weekend, our family one a free stay and a bunch of jellystone park items at the adult egg hunt. The additional eggs around the park for the kids on easter was really nice! They also offer a church service on Sunday! We would recommend this location to others and we hope our future visit will be a better experience the whole time!

Update: Manger has called and apologized!

My family and I LOVE everything about Yogi on the Lake in Pelahatchie. The kids beg to go and don’t want to leave! It’s always clean and the employees are happy and willing to help in whatever ways are needed. A big shoutout to Alana Goss for being so sweet, helpful, and always making sure things flow smoothly for us! We will be back very very soon.

We booked Easter weekend for the “extravaganza” that their wedsite said was Sunday. We booked Saturday-Monday. And booked a family golf cart. When we arrived Saturday it was too late to go to the pool because they close at 7 on a Saturday 🙄 makes no sense but okay, our fault no big deal. Until we really see our “deluxe yogi cabin” it was a mess but claimed at check in , fees on top of fees for everything. So wake up Sunday for this extravaganza except there was none, apparently the main events were on Saturday even though their website said Sunday. Activity center closed at noon, pool doesn’t open until 10 even though crowds of people were outside waiting, closed at 5pm. On top of the golf cart we were assigned was known to be wonkie, the man assisting with explaining the Jerry rigged golf cart to my husband said himself. Paid $130 for a golf cart that worked once and then broke down 4 times on the way from the office back to the cabin. But couldn’t receive help because ther office also closed at 5pm, and didn’t bother calling emergency number because also was no help previously in the day with broken microwave, both TVs, and the bathroom door that didn’t close at all! Bathroom floor was falling through with water and mold damage. The only good part of the trip was the beautiful lake, which is not stocked by the way but the ducks, and trees and wild life are amazing. Splash pad was fun while open, but extremely unsatisfied with cabin and organization of the “Easter extravaganza” and the pools open hours! We ended up leaving early and just taking the loss, we were so disappointed.

Ms. Kristy at the ranger station was so sweet and helpful!! She saved the day by letting us borrow her personal pot to fry fish! My family had 4 cabins total with most of us from Alabama and some family from Louisiana. Wish the activities were going on through the week already but we still really enjoyed our stay!

Stayed here for one night passing through the state.  Crowded campgournd with families.  Lots of things for kids and families to do on the lake.  Nice shower and restrooms.  Sites are gravel.  We had to use levels for our rig.  The road to our site had washed out from a recent rain and was someone dicey driving down....  Had a picnic table and rusty fire pit full of mud. Full hookups.  Didn't use their wifi.  Only issue I had with this park was that the staff was "indifferent"... They never smiled and seemed to be unfriendly.  Just gave us a map and told us where we should go and that was all.  I had to ask questions if I wanted any info.
