We live in a wonderful mobile home park, Agave Village in East Mesa. Recently, a storm blew through and destroyed carport, sheds, and enclosed patios. In the pouring rain, neighbors helped neighbors gather back up their belongings and pick of the pieces of carports, roofs and siding. Our manager and office girl and maintenance guys all chipped in on the clean up. Amazing! Who does that. Retiring here was a great choice, fantastic people to live with here at Agave Village- we’re blessed!

I cannot express enough gratitude for Rebecca, the office manager at The Agave. She went above and beyond her call of duty to help my father and me with the purchase of our new home. Rebecca treated us with such kindness and patiently guided us through all the applications, making the entire process incredibly understandable and foolproof. She even took time out of her personal life to ensure we were taken care of. Her dedication and support were truly exceptional, and we are so grateful for everything she did.

When I moved into this 55+ community two and a half years ago, it was a welcoming, vibrant park with a true resort-style atmosphere. Unfortunately, since the change in management a little over a year ago, the overall environment has declined noticeably. 1. Community Events & Activities The activities committee, supported by current management, has created an unwelcoming environment. Management has been openly dismissive—even rude—toward residents who raise concerns about the committee’s performance. Events are poorly organized, and food gatherings are particularly disappointing (at the last barbecue, all the hamburgers and hot dogs were burnt). Many residents now feel excluded, which has led to extremely low participation. By comparison, nearby 55+ parks host well-run events such as bingo, concerts, and comedy shows that draw large crowds, while our community often sees fewer than 20 attendees out of 350 - 400 homes. 2. Resident Council The Resident Council has become essentially non-functional under current management and the activities committee. This council is meant to provide residents with representation and a collective voice in community decisions. Its inability to operate effectively has left residents without meaningful input on how the park is managed. 3. Electrical System The community’s outdated electrical infrastructure remains a serious concern. Homes are still limited to 100-amp service, which restricts the safe use of modern appliances. Because power is metered through the park rather than directly with SRP (Salt River Project), residents cannot open individual accounts or benefit from SRP’s rate plans. As a result, we are forced to pay higher utility costs, with no indication of planned upgrades to 200-amp service or direct SRP accounts. Conclusion This 55+ community has the potential to be outstanding once again. It previously held a resort designation for good reason, and with capable management, reinvestment in infrastructure, and restoration of a functional Resident Council, it could return to being a thriving, welcoming community. Until those changes occur, however, many residents, myself included, remain deeply disappointed in the current direction of the park.

Moved in 4 months ago. Love this park. Two year-round heated pools for swimming. Office staff and maintenance crews are very good, both friendly and professional. Places are well kept. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place in Mesa.

I have been here since December 2024. I am very happy. Managers are the best. Any questions they are right in it. Any updates or emergencies they keep you informed . I have had great experiences here. The activities and events are a lot of fun. The grounds keepers are awesome. They keep a clean park. I think I picked the right place. Two pools, laundry room, gym, card room, and in fact all areas are clean and neat. Close to the 202 and the 101. 5 stars from me.

We have an RV spot and couldn't be happier. It's a lovely Village but there's not a ton to do. There's pools, tennis, shuffleboard and those kind of things but there's isn't what I had imagined like an activity director. I thought there would be aqua classes and maybe planned things but it's do-it-yourself. I've been really lucky and got a great neighbor, and there's so many little dogs around but none of them seem to use the dog park. 🤷‍♀️

My wife and I stayed at this park for 4 winters (2019-2023). The first two years we really enjoyed it. AV has some really nice amenities; two nice pools, for awesome pickleball courts and nice wide streets. If it were just that id give them 5 stars. Unfortunately AV was sold to a large corporation that raised prices on everything, kicked out RVs and made it tough on all who owned there. We are so happy that we left AV to go to an RV park that appreciates their owners and renters. For those that own units at AV I feel sorry for you. You can't sell a unit there because no one will buy. The owners are just terrible!! PS. They have gone through like 8 managers in 4 years. It must be terrible to work for Treehouse Communities. I cannot recommend ANY RV Park that has Treehouse as a managing company.

I just recently moved into Agave Village and l must say that this place is by far the best park in Mesa, Az. The park is very well maintained and the office staff have been very friendly and helpful. The maintenance staff is very friendly and helpful. The people l have met are very friendly and supportive. If l could give them 100 stars l would. GREAT PLACE TO LIVE!!! If l could say one thing people just follow the park rules. Those rules are made to keep the park at this great level. So it doesn’t turn into an unsafe and nasty place. Kodo’s to Alasha and Lori.

We enjoyed our 4 yrs wintering at Agave Village but after being told by AV office that we couldn’t reserve our current F14 space because of “corporate policies/changes” (third year they declined our space choice) we have decided to follow the sunset to another Mesa park. We will miss friends and neighbors we enjoyed while at AV but will not miss the lack of appreciation a good customer deserves. We can’t recommend AV to other RVers because AV current owner policy is to eliminate RV spaces. They showed us the exit and we took it. Best wishes to all our friends. Mark & Anita.

Agree, very poor management that have been abusive to our elderly. We are forced to haul our own trash. I fell doing that. They can't keep managers and they have managers that don't seem to be aware of elderly abuse. Will be consulting an attorney due to getting limited amenities. elderly.

Our community is falling apart. We have council who is very toxic. Management is not helping either but I know the powers above need to help her too!

I don't understand all the negative reviews. We have lived here for over 6 years and have been pretty satisfied. While this may have been a resort in the past the current community isn't lacking. There is a beautiful pool, pickle ball courts, on-site laundry, and community generated activities. Most of the residents are hard working and waiting for the day they can quietly retire. If you need someone to hold your hand 24/7 there is a very expensive high end park off Broadway (L.W.) that should fill your needs.

I regret buying a trailer in this park. Can not keep management on site, treehouse corporate is a joke. only one of their pools work. none of their amenities work. Treehouse don't do what they say they try to cheat you out of rent. I do not recommend this park.

We were looking for a place to stay and called 10 places. Agave Village was the only one who called back and got us in that night. Friendly, helpful office staff, lots to do and lots of friendly people. We had a great stay.
