Angel Fire RV Resort

This RV resort is absolutely beautiful. Located overlooking the Eagle Nest valley and up against the mountain. Views were fantastic. The park is very well laid out with exceptionally generous space between sites. All are concrete pad with ample room for 40' 5th wheel camper and F350 truck. New Mexico highway department was working on roads so access was impacted by construction, but not the fault of the resort. Access to Angle Fire is via a narrow two lane winding road. It can be a bit of white knuckle driving, but doable, just take it easy. The service rating is based on issues connecting to internet. This was reported to the office, who took down my info and was going to report to their IT. Never heard back from them. Given the expense of this rv resort, the service in this respect was disappointing. If again in the Angle Fire area I would check other options before booking again.

Second time customers. This RV Resort is one of the nicest we have stayed at over the past 6 years. Grounds are landscaped very nicely and well maintained. Event and welcome centers are very nice. We really enjoyed hanging out on the covered patio of the event center, by the fire. Available resort activities were entertaining. While we were there, they had live music several nights, wine tasting, s’mores, waffles delivered to your site on weekends and some other activities. Campsites have concrete pads that are reasonably level. Utilities all worked as expected. We did not use the WiFi. Each site has a decent amount of space separating them and they are nicely landscaped. The picnic tables are very nice as compared to most campsites. Interactions with employees was ok During the time we were there, we encountered some that were quite friendly, some that were just ok and two who had an open conversation in front of us, heavily criticizing their employer. While we would absolutely return for this resort, I don’t know if we would return for the area. The area is quite scenic, but there is not a lot to do outside of the resort. This does not factor into my ratings since the resort cannot control it, but if you are arriving in October 2025 you need to pack your patience due to extensive road construction in the area. Honestly, it was quite frustrating having to deal with long delays every time we left or returned to the resort. On the worst day, we sat at the exit point for over 40 minutes awaiting a pilot car that would allow us to depart.

Angel Fire RV Resort is hands-down the nicest RV resort I’ve ever stayed at! The amenities and attention to detail really set it apart. Free pancakes on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings were such a nice touch — and delicious too! They also have live music several nights a week, which made for a fun and relaxing atmosphere. The views are incredible, and the location is perfect for exploring the area. Fast Wi-Fi, clean and well-kept spots, and easy pull-through access made everything super convenient. This place truly has it all — can’t wait to come back!

This was our first time to Angel Fire area and we stayed at Angel Fire RV Resort. The accommodations were impeccable. You can sign up for waffles in the morning and they arrive at the campsite very timely and are delicious. Beautiful scenery and very well maintained resort. The only negative comment is their fee per site. It’s not extreme by any means, but it is a bit pricey. I guess that’s what they have to do to exclude trashy “campers” :-) Regardless, we truly enjoyed our stay and intend to go back.

This is one of the best, well managed RV resorts I have ever been to over many years Rv'ing. The property is beautiful with landscaping between each site, perfectly level and spotlessly clean concrete pads, wifi that actually works!, HD cable...and the surrounding scenery is amazing. At 8600 feet above sea level, temps in the 70s during the day, 40's at night is so invigorating. The staff is great, the facilities all look brand new and there is not a less-than-perfect site anywhere across the resort. Kudos to the management and staff. This was our first stay and it will now be on our recurring schedule.

Beautiful property. The sites are very level and spacious. Lots of beautiful plant life and trees. In a few years, the trees will be large enough to offer some great shade at the RV spots. Nice amenities. Very clean very quiet.

We're a full time family, on the road since November 2023. This is the RV Resort all other RV Resorts need to use as an example for quality of service and quality of infrastructure. Live music 2x a week, waffles delivered to your RV every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, impeccable facilities, wonderful jacuzzi, beautiful shop, all while overlooking the - arguably- most beautiful views of the New Mexico Rocky Mountains. There is nothing I would change, 5 stars, 10/10. We will be back, VERY soon. 🥳

Have to give a big thank you to the Resort. We had to cancel our recent visit due to an unexpected snowstorm and initially we lost our deposit since we canceled less than 72 hours ahead. But after I posted a review of the situation they graciously refunded our deposit. We look forward to trying again for a visit!

My husband and I made a Western RV journey this Spring. I’ve always wanted to see New Mexico and after Albuquerque and Santa Fe, we made our way north and chose Angel Fire RV Resort. WOW!!! Just wow! Likely the best RV Resort we’ve been to. Not only is it beautiful, and situated conveniently on the Enchanted Circle, the sites are big, clean, like brand new. A beautiful lodge/clubhouse, pickle ball courts, and all the other expected amenities except theirs were exceptional. It was cold when we were there but not a problem. We just happen to be there all alone—no others RVs were there. But alone we felt very safe. We even had the run of the Clubhouse, there was a gas firepit lit every night to sit and enjoy, free coffee, and we could relax in the warmth and watch one of their 3 80” tvs! What a retreat. Plus we were able to travel to destinations around the Enchanted Circle—Taos, Taos Pueblo, Eagle Nest, Red River, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and the beautiful Cimmaron Canyon Park. I’ll bet this place is beautiful in the warmer months. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great home base when skiing Angel Fire. We stayed in the cabins, which are new the the facility and they were perfect. The RV park is setup well and offers a hot tub, washing machines, with a lounge, and an event hall where you call meet up with others staying there. The event hall was large with couches, chairs, TVs and fire places for use to anyone staying at the RV park. We also noticed Pickleball and a playground for kids but didn't use them. The front desk employees couldn't have been any more helpful with anything we needed and went out of their way for whatever we needed. They even provided waffles on weekend mornings and s'mores for the kids on Saturday night. Highly recommend this facility and can't wait to go back.

RV Resort vacation at its finest. You can definitely tell the owners put so much pride in the entire operation. From landscaping, experience, and nothing less than the absolute best customer service! Super friendly, informative, responsive, and so kind! We even had HOT waffles delivered to our RV door. Such a phenomenal experience and so close to the slopes! We look forward to visiting again! Thank you all so much!

Beautiful facility! Top notch, level and easy pull through spots. I really appreciated the laundry facilities after traveling days with my family. The staff were great at communicating before our stay and were really kind.
