We always have a great relaxing time at camp. Hickory Creek provides some spacious sites..some beautiful sunrise's and it's somewhat easy to navigate, even with some of the larger 5th wheels. The park attendants are usually very friendly and a good source of information.

The upside was the campground itself was beautiful but only two restrooms for the entire Campground and they were not very clean in fact the ladies restroom was unbearable kind of a kind of a bummer

Park is nice. Bathrooms are horrific and a disgrace. Black mold growing significantly in mens shower areas. Word is they lost their cleaning contract, so noone cleans it. BAD!

We managed to get one of our favorite sites right by the lake. It has electric. There are several water faucets around the park to fill up your freshwater tank. There is also a dump station. There is a camp host at the campground. Reservations can be made online.

This is a decent campground. It's very much "suburban camping," meaning it's certainly not wilderness, the campsites are really close together, and not much between you and your neighbor. Probably better for RV than rent camping. But being close to town, it was easy to get to the many activities available in Fayetteville. Bathrooms were a bit more than walking distance from our campsite, but pretty clean. Had 50 amp, 30 amp, and 110v outlets at each site. Also had a picnic table and grate over the for pit for cooking.

Hickory Creek Park is a beautiful spot perfect for a family outing or a peaceful retreat. The park features well-maintained trails, lovely picnic areas, and plenty of open space for activities. The creek adds a charming touch, making it a great place for fishing or simply enjoying nature. The clean facilities and friendly atmosphere make it a delightful destination. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the outdoors! Very busy on sunny weekends

Site 31 has pretty uneven terrain even to get from the concrete pad to the picnic table so not great for anyone with mobility issues, but the view of the fog rolling across the lake in the morning was beautiful! It was also easily within walking distance to the restroom, which was not marked as such on the map.

So hard to give this a 3 out of 5 rating because the area is so beautiful, but here goes. Pros: The sites are nice, we were in 60 which had a beautiful view of the lake. We were right by the boat ramp which can be a pro or a con depending on your interests. For us it was a pro because we like boats and its fun to watch boat ramp buffoonery. All the shopping or dining you could ever want is within 20 mins. Camp hosts were friendly. Cons: There is no water at the individual sites, but there are a few fill stations along the park. The closest bathroom is a "vault toilet". Imagine a open septic tank with a toilet seat on the top. So nasty, smelly, and gross! The closest normal toilet and showers are exactly a half mile away. It's when you put those together that things go bad. I don't have water at my site, yet the only proper toilet and shower is a half mile away??!! Also, the traffic on the last loop is hindered by two things: 1. The road in the loop is narrow and people lack courtesy to move their trucks and boats clear off the pavement. 2. The exit of the loop is dead in the middle of the line for the boat loading ramp. Good luck getting out on the weekend! Like I said, I hate to complain about the place because it is beautiful and we had a good time, but they really need to address a few things (water, bathrooms, traffic). But we all know that will never happen. Good luck and enjoy your stay. Let me know if I'm just #itching ha ha

It will really nice beside they let the campsite a cross of us to have a Inflatable slide and ton of people at are not stay there and they are loud all night and ton of car coming and going. I though we can only have 2 car par site. Beside all that we had a great time. We may go somewhere us next time

Nice campground. Could use more showers, flush toilets, and a better swim area. Good local restaurant close by in the marina. Had a good time, saw lots of wildlife.

Pleasantly surprised. The staff is great. Only strike is very cold showers (no hot water).
