It’s always beautiful to visit shaver lake and camp Edison is place I always love to go! The lake is really low and there is still snow. Nature looks specially beautiful cover in white with snow

Really like Camp Edison! We've only winter camped. But i'm sure it's nice year round, and I like that you can winter camp. Great. Sledding around the lake, and China peak is only 19 miles away.

We ended up staying one night here on Veteran's Day weekend. The weather was gorgeous! During non-peak season most of the campground is closed so we were able to hike all over without seeing many people. The water in the lake is a little low but still really nice. The campground is very well maintained and clean. We were very impressed. On top of that we even had full 5g Verizon service. Sad part is that a lot of the area outside the park burned during the Creek Fire but they are recovering. Will definitely be back!

First time camping here, had a great time, God willing. We're definitely coming back next year.

The horseback riding is really fun, by far one of Camp Edison's best attractions, but if you're not a fan of horses, the RVing is definitely a great experience. The grounds are well-organized, with picnic tables everywhere and a bunch of kayaks along the lake. Shaver Lake, which is where the camp is, is a natural wonder in itself, so the camp site definitely benefits from being surrounded by so many tall trees and greenery. We even found a small waterfall while hiking, and I'll just pause to say this location is super hilly and is superb for hiking. If you like really serene forestry edging a gorgeous California lake, you'll love this site! - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
