Canyon Gateway Grand Canyon RV Park, Williams, AZ

This is a wonderful place to park your RV during a visit to the Grand Canyon.  Either stay in your own RV or rent a cute RV on site.
Bathrooms and showers are great! They even provide towels, soap and shampoo.  Close to the canyon and anything you might need.  I didn't hear any sounds during the night that disturbed my sleep. Great location and service to travelers!

Near the highway with some train and vehicle noise at night, but no train whistles until morning. Helpful staff onsite. Recycle available!

I would give zero if that was a choice. It's dirty, smelly, and gross. Staff are rude. The main office stinks.

When it came to staying here our experience was really positive however there are two things that I'm hoping that they'd be able to fix in order for us to revisit in the future. I'm hoping that they can have their cleaning stuff make sure that their coffee pots are cleaned out, I loved that they provided a package that included everything for coffee however when it came to making it, I noticed the tank of the coffee pot was very unclean and aside from that there was a slight mold smell in the unit and I had a hard time sleeping due to being super sensitive to mold. The prices were reasonable for the accommodations we were needing, and it was close to the highway which made everything around us accessible.

Glamping is the wrong term. Overpriced rooms that have seen better days, not cleaned adequately (stained bedding and couch) and located directly on a busy road. The pictures on the website that give you the impression that the site is located in the forest are misleading. The worst thing is the ignorance in the event of a complaint; probably part of the company philosophy! They charge you fees and keep your money!
We had to take legal action to get our money back after 3 months!

Sorry, I forget the nightly and weekly rate. Right by the truck stop and not far from I-40 so there is some noise all night but not bad Toilets/ showers are pretty good but not new. This is a vacation glamping park too so there are people having a good time so there might be some late noise. One exit from the road to the GCyn. Not a park to really crow about.

Sorry wouldn’t stay here if you paid me, the people working there were so rude! We inquired about staying and immediately left after speaking to a very rude woman! This does not seem like a travelers RV park, it seems more like a park where people live. We are an older couple in our early 60’s with a nice truck and ToyBox.

Affordable and clean. Beds weren't that comfortable but had plenty of pillows and blankets. The friendliest staff. Fully stocked kitchen and spacious fridge. There is plenty of space for a family of 4. Close to downtown Williams, just a short drive away.

Terrible place. Staying at a truck stop will be as good and cheaper. Your bed is 150 feet away from a large truck stop. You can hear the guy announcing what shower is available all night long. At about 8:00 pm the trucks start coming in, one after the other all night long. When the parking spots at the truck stop are full they park right next to your campsite and idle all night long. The RV "pads" are a mix of mud and pebbles, you will track it all over the floor of your RV. The "pads" are not level, I could not get my RV leveled without stacking a bunch of blocks under the jacks. The "gravel" is very soft and you will sink into it if you don't have a large pad under your jacks.
Now for the good part, it was cold the night we stayed there, and their electrical is not in tip-top shape. Only a 30 amp service was available. In cold weather, I plug a trouble light in and put it in the wet bay. Their pedestals would not accommodate another plug so we froze up overnight. We planned to stay two nights, but with no water, we left at 9:00 am the first morning. When we told her we were leaving early, the parrot at the front desk could only say, "we do not offer refunds" over and over. Avoid this place.

Very nice quiet rv park. Very clean as well. Being so close to the freeway didn't really here traffic. We would be back maybe try in the summer

Best-in-class customer service!
The staff here is the best we've encountered anywhere we've ever stayed.  Wish we could add the extra star, but the park is just shy of a little green grass.  Trees provide plenty of shade.  Easy pull-through spots and lots of room between sites is a huge plus.  The park was quiet and everyone was very friendly and courteous.  Amazing location close to lots of shopping and restaurants, but feels like it's out of town.  Will definitely be back and recommend to others.
