The place is absolutely beautiful. It's definitely secure with needing to have a pass and having someone open the gate. Of course it is noisy being near the highway. Next time we will look for a spot that is further away from the highway. The second day that we were there we brought some friends back with us because we were having a problem with our pop-up tent and we wanted their help. I did not know the protocol for bringing someone in with us since they only allow one car through the gate at a time which makes sense. However when I went to the office the person I spoke to was a little snippy and nasty saying that all I needed to do was wave my pass out the window. I explained that yes I knew that however I needed to also let my friends in to help me with our pop-up trailer. There was any barrage of questions about if they were going to stay overnight were they staying in my trailer etc. I had clearly explained that they came by simply to look at the trailer and give us some advice and I thought the snippy questions were a little much.

As full time RVrs this was seriously one of the best parks we’ve ever stayed at. Spaces are huge. Lots of grass for our dogs. Picnic table and fire pit. The staff was amazing and accommodating. I didn’t want to leave. 10/10 would recommend and I plan to come back.

We read the reviews of some of the guests after coming here and they’re absolutely right about how unprofessional the staff is. We’re greeted with one of the rudest people there except the elderly lady is far worse. The sports are ok but we stayed in a gravel site, no grass because they trick you by saying “there’s only 2 spots available” we know that’s a lie because in our stay there, there’re 3 spots across from ours that no one ever came, also, another guest said “that’s what they told us too” We’ll not be coming back.

Came here on vacation and while it's a nice place not too loud it has a serious ant problem. We have never had a problem with ants but they were everywhere. When we called the office they said everyone gets them here and told us to buy bait traps from their store. Not to mention they also advertise the rope course as part of their park but it's a separate company that you need to pay for and isnt related to the park at all. Another thing is you have to pay for guests, per person not per car or parking. This place would be fine if they were a little more honest with fees and advertising.

What a great RV Park! It is reasonably priced for such a centrally located place to stay. It is typically cool at night. Very close to the freeway. You will see wildlife even though you are in such a populated area. The employees are very sweet. It is kept in good repair. I have RV’d across America and this is one of my top five parks.

Canyon RV Park in Yorba Linda, California, offers a peaceful escape with a perfect blend of nature and convenience. Nestled along the Santa Ana River within Featherly Regional Park, this spot feels like a hidden gem—just minutes from the freeway but worlds away in atmosphere. The park features spacious RV sites with full hookups, picnic tables, and fire rings, making it easy to relax and unwind. Mature trees provide plenty of shade, and the well-maintained grounds create a clean and welcoming environment. The real highlight here is the access to nature. Walking and biking trails run right through the park, and it’s not uncommon to spot local wildlife or enjoy quiet moments by the river. Families will appreciate the large playgrounds, open green spaces, and seasonal activities like outdoor movies and holiday events. The staff is friendly and helpful, and check-in is a breeze. While there aren’t many frills like a pool or clubhouse, the simplicity is part of the charm. It’s more about unplugging and enjoying the outdoors. Whether you’re staying for a weekend getaway or a longer visit, Canyon RV Park is a great option for those looking to recharge in a peaceful, natural setting.

Hard to believe this location exists so close OC/IE. Stayed for 3 weeks waiting for our place to be completed. It wasn’t a vacation but it sure felt like one. Everyone was nice from the office to the neighbors. Well maintained. Forget that it’s so close to the freeway. It’s like having white noise in the background you don’t know it’s there. Will definitely return. Won’t say any more for fear it will get too popular. 😉

Families beware! I'm not sure where to start. Online this place looks great! However , when you check in your met with surprises. The ropes course was a big seller for us with teens along with bike options and river awesome! NOPE! SO , got settled in on Friday and my kids went to jit up the rope course . To learn it's a separate company from the park and it was going to be $120.00 for both my kids for one run. That was 35 per kid and 50 deposit along with booking a spot etc because someone booked it for the weekend as well joy ! Good for that family but some notice at check in would been great but nope she didn't say a word but it gets better . ... Found that to be crazy after we paid for the weekly rate but whatever. The river , is gone and if you try to walk by it your trespassing! Let's also not forgot if you have guest , you have to pay for guest pass on Friday and Saturdays! So come Sunday morning the rope course instructor, he told people to park in front of car and blocked us in ! After my husband had to search for people to move their car my kids went off to church. They came back and had a car pass. The lady gave my 17 year old a hard time about his pass instead of speaking with an adult. That lead us to find out we were not told about another thing at check in! The electric car passes for the week ... Kicker you need a cash deposit for this . This is normal but again was not told and then they gave a teen boy a hard time! Needless to say my teens were much happier leaving Monday and not even staying for the rest of the week. We attempted to check out the local river spot they advertised and that was a joke, Make sure to read all reviews because I wish I did a better job! Also the bathrooms were nasty, we clean a campground in Idaho and this blew my mind the amount of employees they had but the cleanliness was horrible.

Very loud freeway noise. Beautiful sites. Be careful if you are unsure how many days you may be there. We traveled from Oregon to visit a terminally I'll aunt and had no need to stay another day that was paid for in advance and they would not give a refund. Had we known this we would have paid daily, not in advance.

I don't want to leave a good review about this place because personally I'd rather have nobody come here but me. But really the place is badass. The people are; friendly & knowledgeable and they genuinely want to help you have a good time. Michelle is the girl you want to ask for. It's quiet, safe and peaceful and it feels like your out in the wilderness but without the bears!

Every time we come back to Southern California we book our RV space here. Beautiful open area, lots of large cottonwood trees, grass areas everywhere. Slight downfall is that it is located below a freeway, so you do get a bit of vehicle noise at all hours of day and night, but I believe the beautiful surroundings more than offset this minor inconvenience. Fair price with full hookups. Thoroughly enjoy booming and staying here.

The RV park is nice but there is a lot left to be desired. I'm a travel nurse and was on assignment nearby. In the 13 weeks we were there, we moved sites 7 times. Some was planned, some last minute. In the first month we lost power twice and water once. With the water outage, I called to the office to let them know. I later found out that my call resulted in me being blacklisted. Only my husband was allowed in the office and we were not to be accommodated in any way during the remainder of our stay. It was an immature and unprofessional response. Given that I made the reservation and paid for the duration of our stay, our first will definitely be our last. Also, the park floods and if you're past the bridge, you're stuck.

Nice RV park off the 91 fwy. Local get-away with lots of trees and is centrally located.

Campground is stretched out along the river so wherever you're at you feel you're in a small campground. The bathrooms in the showers are so clean and freshly painted I was very impressed. The whole place is wonderfully maintained. Super friendly staff the maintenance people on the golf carts always smile and say hi. The kids will love the abundance of wildlife there are sections where they let the gophers have their little cities. And lots of other wildlife rabbits and lots of different kinds of birds. They have outdoor swimming pool. And for the adventurous the climbing towers and hanging walkways are amazing to watch people repel and climb. Midweek almost always has availability but weekends make reservations as early as possible. Last minute very looking for cancellations is difficult.
