Chicago Northwest KOA Kampground

This campground isn't near Chicago but in the far northwest suburb area. It is out in the country and convenient to I-90. We have stayed many, many times in the last 5-6 years and enjoy it. Very clean, full hook-ups, a pool, playground and a gated area for RVs ($48 per night). Cabins and separate tenting area available. Lots of activities for kids on the weekends. Friendly staff and they do escort you to your site. Firewood is a bit pricey at $6 a bundle and the wood burns fast. Nice store, well stocked. Located right next door to Wild West Town, a nice restaurant and not too far from a railroad museum. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
