What a fantastic park (at least in the non-mosquito season). We spent 4 days here in January. Pleasant weather. Incredible hiking trails, and phenomenal cabins on the water. The arboretum really is the icing on the cake. Bathhouses were clean and well maintained, although I don’t think any had laundry (although I could have been mistaken). They also have about 20 miles of backpack trails with 6 (or 8?) remote primitive campsites. Not sure this would be a good place in the summer months: very hot, humid, and I’m sure lots of mosquitoes. But in the “off-season” months, a really great place to visit.

Wonderful place. Bathrooms and showers clean. The camp spots are very nice as well. The people are wonderful. The Arboretum was such a nice easy walk. The floating boardwalk was very nice. We stayed a couple of extra nights for all of these reasons. Relaxation at it's very best!

Can I leave my boat in the water overnight if camping at the state park?
