Crazy Horse Campgrounds
Enduro America
Listen up, I'm not one to leave a bad review but this warrants a read if you plan to stay at the crazy horse. Don't fall for the bait and switch of staying at the cabins at this place. They charge a $125 cleaning fee and the place is a dump (see photos). At over $200 (with cleaning fee) a night you'd be far better off staying at one of the hotels in town. Even if, like in our case, you have another family member camping here. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I know. They don't even provide a bar of soap or shampoo of any kind. The water heater is barely enough for one person to take a warm shower and they have lock boxes on the thermostats so they can't be turned down below 76 degrees. Whomever owns and runs this park should be ashamed of themselves. The outhouses around the park were all full to the brim and the overall feel and asthetic of the park itself needs major improvements in landscaping and general cleanup. We definitely won't be returning here.

The good: Close to London Bridge. Private beach. Lots of activities. Laundry facilities. The bad: Cramped. Oh my goodness. You will get to know the people you are parked next to whether you want to or not. Hot water problems. There is a sign saying this may happen but still… The sticker on the window. That bad boy will never come off. Not all showers have hooks for your towel or bag, check first.

A lot of full timers with big rigs and squished in like sardines. Sites are not maintained. Beach is rough small gravel bits and rock. Can get very windy, so much so that we could barely bring in stuff from the truck to the trailer. Nothing been done to enhance the park in probably 20 years. Washroom latches don’t work in either male or female stalls. The pool was unusable due to faulty wiring with the hot tub. A gent with a pacemaker was told to get out NOW, by his cardiologist who could remotely monitor his pace maker. Pacemaker was adversely affected due to wiring. That was 3 months ago and they have done nothing. Wouldn’t stay there again. Most seasonal folks aren’t returning g next year as rent increasing by $300/month and like why???? Beautiful town though with lots to do and the canal is amazing for walking, cycling, kayaking.

There are several public bathrooms overall. We arrived on a Saturday during spring break. The facility crams everyone in, and there are over 600 RV and cabins to rent. We were VERY happy with our campsite within feet to the water and with spectacular views. The reason for 4 stars. By Sunday there was not one square of toilet paper in any of the stalls. There were no hand towels either. Later that afternoon I went to check and see if anyone had filled up the bathroom with essentials. It had not. On our way out for a walk, I mentioned to an attendant that the bathroom needed toilet paper and hand towels. On the way back they had replaced the toilet paper, but not the hand towels. I saw the pool had water but I don't think it was open, which was fine. I'd heard there was a hot tub, but didn't try to find it. There is also a laundry available, which we didn't use, just letting you know they have one.

Mixed review here wish I had half a star for 3.5 star review here is why. Loves Location is great but most spots are not on water. Constant events to keep you busy. Love bingo, pickle ball, and shuffleboard courts. Nice beach. Trash cans everywhere. Nice laundry facilities and store. Propane on site$$. Dislikes They put a sticker on the vehicle and camper that will need razor blade removal. They do not warn you of this. That aggravated me. Laundry is token type and only takes $5s or larger only for 3 tokens that's $5. So not expensive for laundry but that's only 1.5 loads so you have to add another 5 to get even load number... aggravating. No parking near the water no fishing from docks . Sewage connection above ground that is pain to empty hose . Water pressure sucks and left filter brown

The park as a whole has had a lot of my friends stay and enjoy holidays .I like that it's over 60 years old it's quite settled and easy to get around.I'm a local in town,so I fish there and visit often.beware the grumpy ok man at the security gate.he is the only staff that gives the place a thumbs down,he is rude old tired man who doesn't like people his job or himself. If they gave him a reservation job, they would loose money.that's my review

You can walk to the bridge and other shopping. We've stayed there for the past 2 Christmas's. The park is a little run down but the staff and other RVers more than make up for it. You have the option of staying right on the lake or lake view. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

This campground is very serene and peaceful. If you are looking to relax this is the spot. When we showed up the staff were so nice and helpful and got us in a really nice spot without any hassle. The park itself was very nicely maintained and clean, especially the facilities. They offered a good array of amenities and activities yet that wasn’t what we were after this trip. We were looking to relax by the wonderful waves and watch the beautiful sunset. It’s at a great location with a plethora of things nearby in the surrounding area. Lots of places to eat and shop! All in all it was surreal and worth every penny. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
