June1, 2026 We stayed in the one bedroom cottages and they were very clean. It has a washer and dryer which was a sweat surprise! Microwave and fridge were also available. The best part was the service. They hand delivered anything we needed like extra towels, pillow, coffee and such. When we showed up, the attendant upgraded us from a room to a cottage! It was perfect! Great service and the best place to be when it’s over 100 degrees outside! WiFi is available as well. The gas station is right next door as well at the visitors center. They have a pool but we didn’t use it. We bought the bed and breakfast package and the breakfast had so many options! Delicious.

One of the few places to stay right within Death Valley.. it’s an old property but maintained very well .. size of this property is good , we stayed in cottage which was a comfortable stay.. they have multiple restaurant and open area to relax .. we stayed for two nights and place for clean and green. They have all the required common amenities making it more comfortable .. once you are inside after your tired excursion you have all your option to chill. Just want to have a walk you have olace to do that . 2 restaurant plus one icecream parlor and coffee shop. We had all our meal at this place.

This place is amazing, literally a desert oasis! The staff have all been really helpful friendly through out my visit to furnace creek. I would like to give you shoutout to the folks down at main Buffett which has been dinner for the past 3 nights now. Would especially like to thank William and Amanda for making it what it has been. Even when it was really busy Amanda still was making her rounds making sure everyone was taken care of and had what they needed. Then William was so personable, made sure you knew your options and even shared a bunch of interesting facts about the ranch and surrounding area with some other guests and I last night I thought were pretty cool!

This is a great location for exploring Death Valley during an extended stay. The casitas are mini-duplex units with a shared front porch. At the end of February it was very pleasant to sit on the porch with morning coffee. Cafeteria buffet is edible and has a good variety of choices but you might prefer the Last Kind Words Saloon food for dinner. Reservations are a must because of space. Gift store also has a useful selection of convenience store breakfast and snack items. Gas station and Furnace Creek visitors center are right next door. I will definitely stay here again both because of its central location in Death Valley and the comfortable casitas.

Delightful property, truly an oasis. Lots of spots to sit and relax. Yummy morning buffet to set your tummy for the day. Easy to travel from site to site in a relaxing manner. Some easy hikes for older folks. Comfy bed to dream of your travels. We’d love to return again!

The Ranch at Death Valley is an exceptional retreat in one of the most unique landscapes on Earth. The location is breathtaking — you feel surrounded by the vast beauty and silence of the desert. The room was spotless, comfortable, and reflected the rustic charm of the region perfectly. The staff was warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Having an on-site restaurant and reliable services made our stay effortless after long desert excursions. Overall, The Ranch at Death Valley combines comfort, great service, and an unforgettable setting. A truly perfect base for exploring Death Valley — highly recommended!

10/10 recommend! There’s no better, more convenient location for your trip to Death Valley National Park. Service from every staff member was great - everyone we saw smiled and said hello. Kenya at the front desk was especially helpful - she went above and beyond in making sure our stay and room was comfortable! Food at the saloon was fantastic and far exceeds what you’d normally find in a national park. Love the small town feel of this tiny community. 100% recommend!

Clean comfortable room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Decent shower and plenty of towels. If you can manage steps, get a second floor room as the footsteps overhead are loud. Location is outstanding for exploring the park. Rent an electric bike onsite and have fun! Buffet lunch and dinner were very good and reasonably priced, but they weren't always punctual with service time. The resort extras such as pool, tennis, golf, etc. appeared well maintained but we didn't use any of them. Downside? No microwave and very small refrigerator in the room. Cocktails and beverages were very expensive as was the convenience store. The coffee service in the room was substandard. I'm not sure if it was an oversight, but our room lacked beverage glasses in the bathroom and flatware for the coffee/tea service. No way to stir in cream or sugar. All the problems were minor, so I would definitely recommend staying here. You can't beat the location or atmosphere. Staff are very friendly.

I took one star off due to our first room being next to a main door and the ice machine. We were woken up all night by the slamming and vibration of the main door shutting as guests came and went. And the ice machine at all hours. We also had lots of flies in that room. The following morning we were moved to a second floor room which was much quieter, over looking the golf course. Beautiful views. The room is basic but lovely and clean. The ranch is wonderful. It's like a mini western town and there is so much attention to detail. The staff are nice and happy. We missed out on the horses due to going out of season but the place is still worth going to. Tennis course, swimming pool, historic museum, ice cream 50s style parlor, pub/ restaurant in western style. Breakfast suit. Shops. It's a relaxing holiday. And with amazing views especially at night. The experience is amazing there.

This is a great place to stay right in the middle of Death Valley National Park. The location is prime. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool is so nice! And we enjoyed having some places to eat right at the resort since this park is so remote. The store had great souvenirs and sundry items, too! Highly recommend this lodging!

If you are looking to visit our National Park - Death Valley this is the place to stay. Nice rooms, a lot of amenities and great options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room temps can only be set to 74 so if you like it really cold to sleep it may be a little uncomfortable however their ceiling fans are amazing. The cottages are super nice and comfortable. Great location to get to the areas you are looking to visit in Death Valley and it's right next door to the Visitor Center. We would stay here again.

Location is perfect as almost immediately next door to ranger station -- excellent source of information about the views, hikes, etc nearby. Our room was fine, but in building on 2nd floor and we saw even the cleaning staff had to drag heavy stuff up the stairs. They do have ground floor rooms if needed. The pool is wonderful-- opens early (my spouse enjoyed doing laps-- big pool!) and stays open late. The restaurant was fine for dinner (and buffet for breakfast-- there's also a coffee shop), and the general store is really well stocked with food, beer, wine, and souvenirs.

Had a good 1 night stay in one of their more basic rooms. The decor and fittings are slightly dated but all functional and clean. The pool was great for the kids. Dining options are pretty good given their location and when we visited in late August it really wasn't too busy and we didn't have to wait at all. The grounds and setting are really nice. It was a lovely experience.

We stayed at The Ranch at Death Valley and had a great experience overall. The location is very isolated, which adds to the unique desert atmosphere. All amenities are conveniently located on the grounds, so you don’t have to go far for anything. The room was pretty large, located in one of the older, separate buildings — a bit dated, but comfortable. The pool is nice and naturally warmed by the intense desert sun, as expected. One thing that could really improve the experience would be adding more shade near the pool — it gets extremely hot, and a few shaded areas would make it much more comfortable. We skipped the restaurant due to some negative reviews, but did enjoy some ice cream at the shop. A double scoop American portion for three people was more than enough! All in all, a nice and memorable stay in a very special place.

Our recent stay was just okay. The room felt dated, and the advertised renovation was not in our area. Upon arrival, the carpet had crumbs and dirt, and the trash can was full. Despite three requests over four nights, the carpet was never vacuumed. While we appreciated the location of our accommodation within the park, the fact that the pool was closed was quite inconvenient. We did, however, appreciate the alternative arrangement to use the pool at the Oasis Inn, which we found to be quite enjoyable. Reflecting on our experience, we realized that booking a stay directly at the Oasis Inn might have been a better choice for us.
