Really nice park & campground!  Upper shower house has sulfur water, bad!!  Could use an updating. Peew!  Loved the swim, firewood is $20 for a large tote, but they delivered it to our campsite! Disc golf was good, bike ride as nice!

Lovely. I really enjoyed my experience at France Park... Camping, biking, hiking, and Scuba Diving!!! I also really enjoyed the atmospheric music and personality of the place. It is a bit of a drive, but I will certainly be back.

Clean facilities, good hiking trails and beach. I suggest going on a weekday for some quiet, and weekends for the kids to make friends at the beach. Bring bug spray for the trails and an umbrella/sand tent for the beach.

the hiking is my favorite part of this place, there are dozens of trails around the park, but there are also seemingly endless little trails between them and everything's interconnected and fun to explore. personally my downsides are 1) it's relatively expensive to get in at $10 per person, and, 2) my god, they need a rule about loud music. when i went, there was a group that was playing music so loud you could hear the bass from the other side of the park and it really takes you out of the immersion of the otherwise pretty nature

Beautiful park with large trails and plentiful activities. The quarry is stunning and probably my favorite scenic view across the many the park offers.

This might be the best park in northern Indiana separate from the Dunes.  The park feels like you walked into another State with the large cliff wall around the lake.  The waterfall is gorgeous.  Thick old growth forest and excellent camping amenities.  Bring a camera!!

Hiking around the quarry lake is great. Haven't stayed overnight or used many of the facilities, but the staff at the gate is always super helpful and friendly. Everything seems clean and taken care of.  I have enjoyed it a few different seasons as well.

We always do the primitive camping. The trails here are great. The main restroom in this area is always very clean. The playground by the front really needs updated but the kids find the trails and bike riding to be more fun. The beach area is very nice and the kids enjoy swimming plus playing in the sand. This is one of our favorite places to camp that is not extremely far from our home. Last night we did the Sleepy Hollow Hayride. It's fun and not too scary for the kids. I always recommend France Park to everyone. We have been coming her for over a decade.

We primarily chose this place for the diving. My son and husband had a great time exploring the quarry. Overall the beach was nice and we enjoyed hiking a few of the trails. Unfortunately there was a lot of litter on the trails 😔 I was not a fan of the campground. Sites were fairly crowded, and we had to rebuild the fire pit as it had been destroyed. There were golf carts everywhere, and a lot of reckless driving as well as young kids driving around. My son didn't feel safe riding his bike. Also, so many campsites played music loudly 24/7. I love some music, but it was so loud we had trouble hearing one another talk at times. Quiet hours do not exist here despite being posted. I will say the newer shower house was nice, and there were a couple of decent playgrounds for kids.

France Park is beautiful, even on a cloudy day. There's a spot for (seemingly for fishing) full of lily pads on one side of the park and another for swimming and kayaking/canoeing on the other side. There's also a waterfall not far past the entrance, but it can't be seen from the road.  If you want to see that, you might ask the staff at the entrance where it's at. Anyway, there's plenty of places for photos and hiking. I'm a little sad I didn't get to explore more of the park since we weren't provided with a map or any sort of directions. The water is beautiful and you can find more about the park online than you can at the park itself.  There are restrooms and plenty of camping sites for tent camping, possibly more. Like I said, I just went for hiking and photographing the scenery. It's an amazing hidden gem in the middle of nowhere, Indiana.

Had the best time ever. So much to do. Great staff and the camp sites are just awesome. Planning on bringing my entire family for a week. Bath houses are nice, restrooms kept clean. Beach is so clean and clear. Just a great place!! I went with my daughter and her husband Rory and Shanna Griffis. Fantastic place!!

This place is a gem! My family had a very lovely time here. The staff was so nice, helpful, and accommodating.  There were 200 campsites that varied in the kind of camping we wanted which was awesome to choose from. They had all the amenities we could ask for and more actually since we didn’t use them all. They also had a plethora of activities to choose from: swimming, scuba diving, biking, etc. That was not only fun and exhilarating but very relaxing for the whole family.
