Traveling through the June Lake area and many campsites were closed for the season. This park and campsite was exactly what we needed. It’s a great family-run site with amazing lake access, clean and well-kept grounds, and modern amenities we needed after a week of travel, including a very nice hot shower. They also include a station for washing the fish you catch at the lake. The hospitality of the staff was warm and welcoming. Alex checked us in and was very friendly and informative. We will definitely be returning.

A lovely family owned business. Staff were incredibly kind and hospitable. Beautiful location with lots of amenities. Close to the lake and all the fun small town activities that June Lake has to offer.

Stayed here for a few nights. The camp host was excellent. Very friendly and helpful.

The location is great for getting into town or walking to the couple of shops and restaurants and such in June Lake. But you are definitely in a gravel lot in town and not in the woods iron the lake so make sure that’s what you are okay with.

The space is small, and while the WiFi is very solid some of the other amenities are middling. For example the hot tub is hard to use (super heavy weird lid takes three people to move) and the sauna was not working.

Love this campground! Quiet and very well maintained! Both Alex and Nando are excellent host and ALWAYS very friendly and helpful! Bathrooms  are spotless and the extra amenities are appreciated!
The campground is very dog friendly which is important for us that travel with our dogs all the time!!'

This is the absolute IDEAL spot for RV Camping in June Lake, in my humble opinion.

It has all the necessary hookups you’d hope from for your RV/camper. It’s not a large campground, but the spaces are very big for any size camper you are bringing.

In addition, the on-site amenities are top notch - large showers, game/relaxation room, spa, sauna - the list goes on. Right on the border of camping vs. glamping, which was perfect for our family of 4.

All the amenities were kept in excellent working condition. Large showers were an awesome touch.

There are walking trails right nearby, and June Lake Beach is a short drive away. There is also a playground close by if you’re bringing the kiddos. Ice cream, general store, brewery, and all food options all a short walk into town.

Alex, the site manager, went above and beyond to exceed all expectations and ensure our stay was pleasant. He was so kind and patient, meeting all requests swiftly.

When traveling back to June Lake, we will only be going back to Golden Pine. Thank you for a magnificent stay!

On the upside, the campground is two blocks away from a stunning view of Gull Lake with snow capped mountains in the back and it’s a two minute walk to town. 
However…. Our site, 11,  was a huge disappointment. Our view was a cinderblock wall and an RV storage lot. The site was too small for our 34 ft fifth wheel. The picnic table was up against the wall so we could sit on only one side. We didn’t bother to do laundry before arriving since the website stated laundry facilities were available. There were none. We learned it as been out of service for a couple years. We did not have cable, which is also listed. 
Our stay was vastly improved 2 days into our vacation when the campground host, Alex, came on duty. He went out of his way to accommodate us and moved us to a beautiful site….surrounded by trees instead of a wall. We can’t thank him enough. Best.host.ever.

Great hosts! Quiet park just walking distance to Gull Beach, the library, and dining.  Electricity hookups in the entire park would show “reverse polarity” if a surge protector is used. Solution: don’t use a surge protector!

Devine location and the hosts were amazing! Johnny & Lonna, you made the trip more enjoyable with your friendliness and helpful attitude!  You went above and beyond, and we appreciated it immensely!!  Can't wait to go back to the area, and hopefully the same campground!  Not only peaceful, but being able to walk to everything was GREAT!  And the deer coming right thru the cg was even more special.  Having the hookups for the trailer made the stay less stressful too.

Kerry is an amazing camp host! When I had park my trailer she came over to help me back in to make sure my personal property was not damaged by the surrounding trees. Kerry is extremely kind and is always waving when to me when I pass by. Kerry put the cherry on top of my stay here at Golden Pines RV Park. Kerry really went above and beyond her duties as a camp host.

Wow squared! The absolute highlight of this park were the camp hosts.  Johnny and Lana, Chip and Kim...amazing!  We’d had some issues w the Motorhome and no exaggeration, they saved us!  Not only were they immensely helpful and knowledgeable but their authenticity and genuine zest for life was truly contagious!   Thank you all for sending us on our way with the best experience we’ve ever had at a park!  Happy trails to you and those who’s path you cross in life 😎😎😎

This is a small campground. We stayed in #10, which is next to the road. Sites are gravel and smaller.  They do have picnic tables and fire pit.  Did not use the fire pit, it is so close to our rv  and our neighbors that the smoke would be bothersome. Check in was easy and manager friendly. Bathrooms and showers are older, but adequate.  The price is a bit high for what you get.  I give it an average rating for amenities.
