What a great little campground! Well, actually huge campground! Great outdoor amenities and activity options if you have kids. Trailer sites range from tiny to massive and they have standard tent sites and then super little secluded sites that are magical! The cabins are really cute and look well maintained and landscaped. Grass is phenomenal everywhere and a huge group gathering area as well. Washrooms were clean and we were here off season so super quiet with nice seasonal neighbours. We stayed 2 nights, hit some local wineries, drove into Montreal and had a lovely time.

We stayed at the KOA South Montreal and were really impressed. The grounds are very well maintained, everything feels clean and cared for. The onsite store is fully equipped with anything you might need, and the amenities are great—mini golf, pickleball, outdoor pool, and more. It’s a fun and convenient spot for families. The only downside was when we booked, we mistook the small area beside the pool for a hot tub, but it isn’t one. A little disappointing since we were looking forward to that, but overall the stay was still excellent. Would definitely recommend this campground if you’re visiting the Montreal area.

Full service campground (50 amp, water, sewer) clean & well kept amenities, easy access to freeway. Though if you miss the entrance there is no place to turn around. Looks a little tight on arrival and has a lot of large rocks around roadways, though we had no issues in our 40 + foot unit hauling a trailer. Even had some super long pull thru sites available. Lots of activities for kids and families (playground, pickle ball court, mini golf, pool) however the pool is currently closed due to some damage from a recent storm? The big drawback is if you miss the 4pm online booking cut off and have to call, good luck getting through. I called several times and was only able to get through on the direct number I found on their Facebook page and even then I was on hold for more than 5 min before I was able to talk to someone. Once I was on the line they were very helpful and knowledgeable, able to get us booked in quickly. The cost per night is high, reflective of the many activities available. Interestingly, we were charged an additional “Child Daily” charge of 4$ (we were just the 3 of us in our site) So, not sure why that would be?? They do offer wood for purchase though it is expensive, 2 medium sized treated bags were 27$, and it’s best to purchase it when checking in so you don’t have to carry it. Bathroom facilities were very clean, and the dump station and garbage area was well maintained and conveniently located at the exit. All in We will stay here again, though will definitely book it in advance.

Sites are flat. Staff are very welcoming. Facilities clean and abundant. Play area was adequate but not pristine but did not hinder my 3 year old from playing on the slides and swings. Pool clean and has a kiddie shallow section as well as regular pool. Would stay again.

I had a great experience at Montreal South KOA Journey. The campground is well-maintained, clean, and organized. The restrooms and showers were spotless, and the pool area was also very clean, which is always important for families. There is a playground for children, and an on-site store where you can find essential camping supplies, personal hygiene products, and snacks like biscuits and more. I definitely plan to return in the future. I sincerely hope they continue to maintain their high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and overall service.
