I give this 3 stars for the location only. The park itself I found very disappointing. Most everything is in disrepair and mismanaged. I can't say that the day to day people are the issue, I just felt it was a stain on La Paz county for letting it become this bad. The water is non potable and not good for your water system unless it is pre filtered. The section that I was able to move to after requesting to be moved had some electrical issues that I guess only effects summer guests because of capacity issues wasn't a problem per say but did cause some confusion with where we could plug in. We had no cell service here and were advised that their internet is hit or miss and not really safe due to lack of security so we didn't try using it. On the positive side, it has decent dog parks and an awesome location.

We'll be leaving soon but I wanted to post now because Rachael and Robert who work check-ins are so nice, so friendly and accommodated us after a mishap with our reservation. The friends we made here, the fun we had was A+. The area I feel is nicer then up in Lake Havasu, less people and less crowds. The campers here are exceptionally friendly. We were here during the boat races and that was a first for me. It was fun! Thank you, Rachael for everything. We appreciate you! Until we see you again, happy trails!

Great county park with Friendly staff. Dogs are welcome. We decided to dry camp on the southeast end of the property for two weeks and didn't have any issues. Looked a little stacked and tight at the prime locations. Reasonably priced for being next to the river. I only had two neighbors the entire stay and they were about 300 feet to the south of me.

Wow this place has gone down hill...We have been coming here every winter for over 10 years...Now that they have a reservation only system which by the way you have to call and if you are lucky to get thru they tell you they are full but maybe squeeze you into a dry camping spot by the road way far away from any bathroom or the river... We got in and paid for a month and after 2 days the park is almost 1/2 empty and has been the whole 2 weeks we have been here...When asked if we could move closer to bathroom and river were very Rudely told WE ARE FULL! OMG THERE ARE SO MANY EMPTY SITES.. We also asked about the month of March and were just told WE ARE FULL !!!.We only wanted till the end of the month which we have paid...We'll we give up and are leaving 2 weeks early NEVER TO RETURN! ITS sad that they seem not to care anymore!!!

RV & Trailer Parking excellent with water and electric hookup. Some sites have a small RV Cabanas. Has areas for tent camping. Quiet right along the Colorado River on the Arizona side. Across the river is California. Golf course across the street. Nearby bars, eateries and downtown Casino and shopping center. Small dog park area.

Bathrooms were clean at the beginning of the weekend, I don't think they are cleaned during the weekend, but they were not that bad. Ice machine was broken, but the sold ice at front gate. The bar is within walking distance, so it make the evenings super fun.

Loved this place! I paid for boondocking with dump, fill and shower. Great clean showers with good amounts of hot water. Clean dump station, friendly people. I was near the beach and boat ramp which on the weekend was very noisy with people coming in off the river at all hours. That didn't bother me at all, bc I liked hearing their amazing laughter and joy. It was fun to just go out and meet folks and have a laugh with them while we chatted as they got their boats out. If you want your sleep, then you'll need to ask to be further from any boat dock when you check in. It all depends on your outlook how you'll view a spot, so make sure you ask to be put where you want to be. But please...DON'T ask to be near the river then complain about the noise at night. Don't be that person.
