Camping areas are rustic but great views. Leveling is a challenge but area is fantastic. Located about 8 miles from Monterey. Bathrooms are clean and well kept. Staff is helpful.

This is a nicely designed and run park with an excellent location, great views, and very nice staff and hosts. There are a few caveats, however, especially for campers with big rigs: The entrance road has a 16% grade, and the road through the campground has some narrow sections with banks. The whole park is on a steep slope, with campsites cut across the hill. Some of the spots (like #1) are difficult to get into with a big rig. There’s a shooting range nearby, so there is near-constant gunshot noise in the daytime, on top of racetrack noise. Showers are unmetered but have no temperature control, and the water is not very hot.

Amazing views, breezes, direct access to trails, clean and spacious. We arrived on the last day the track was open - so we got to see street cars zipping around the track but then the rest of the time the park was serene. The staff were great! There was a lot of wind at night because of the winter time rain dorms that came through , but each day they cleaned up the park. Overall just a great place to stay.

So cool. 16% grade driving up which is crazy but fun- views of all of Monterey! The race track is sick and my kids loved seeing the racing school in progress throughout the week and weekend. 20 mins outside Monterey and very peaceful. The views are incredible. The sites are totally flat and paved but good enough. Bathrooms are cleaned every day and trash is taken out regularly. If you want quaint, great views and some action, RV here!

This campground was great! Super clean, well maintained, and felt safe knowing they had security around the clock. Best of all, we had such a great time with family and friends. Truly an unforgettable experience — can’t wait to come back.

This campground was just ok. Good location and reasonable price. They clearly informed us the water was not potable so we brought two jugs of water; however, we left the water jugs at our campsite for the day and took our vehicle (which is what we were camping in) and when we came back someone had dumped out both the jugs (which were mostly full) and thrown them out. That was super frustrating. When I called the night staff they said there was nothing they could do. We got by with our half a water bottle we had left from the day. It seems like there must have been a lack of coordination with the staff and they didn't mark that our campsite was still reserved for another night, so that was not great. Otherwise the campsite was fine. Facilities were very clean. Raceway was loud but that's to be expected and wasn't noisy too early or too late.

My family and I have been camping here for over 10 years! Great spot, super clean, good service, hot showers, and good weather for the most part. I recommend it!

Such a great trip south a bit of everything! Mountain biking, cycling on the track, and watching some cars practice. I'm glad we learned about the non-potable water ahead of time so we were prepared.

Spent some time here while camping with the RV for track days. The guy (sorry we didn't catch his name) at the entrance was amazing. Super helpful and friendly. Checked in on Wednesday the 11th. The site had a nice view but it was a bit challenging to get into. Not very level so it took everything we had to get. Our rig leveled from side to side. Campground is very hilly so I imagine it can be a challenge in some sites. Our site was 83 and it was a choppy asphalt pad that was pretty well worn, And otherwise it's sandy gravel. Very beautiful.

Beautiful views but if you want a little peace make sure you check the website for racing events since they are really loud.

Camped in RV park in March on a non-race weekend. Lovely, quiet, not crowded.

If only I could choose zero stars outta 5 We where KICKED OUT early with no refund With no explanation... And the event we attended didn't allow camping on the paddock there for we literally had no where to stay after racing all-day we had to load up and track all the way home we had to pull a 21 hour day Unbelievable 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Hooks up for $59 a night in the Monterey area? Steal! Keep your expectation bar realistic and you just found yourself a great place to homebase in this incredible location. Large flat spaces, great for our trailer. Electric and non potable water hookups. Dump site on location. The weekend we were here there was a go cart race. Loud, but we are by a raceway so back to keeping that bar realistic. Made breakfast, headed for a coastal hike, so the noise did not bother us. It was nice and quite at night when it's important. Pretty amazing hike access from campground as long as its not crazy hot. For the price and the area, and there is always availability as long as there is not a major race, it gets 5 stars from us!

No sewer at the RV sites, just power and non potable water. The fire pit was not usable because of its location. Traffic in and out of the park was a bit of an issue. It took 20 minutes both ways. The area is very well managed and maintained. The people are super friendly. The racetrack is cool.
