Lake Perris SRA/Luiseno RV Camping in Perris, CA

I love this park. The views are amazing. The reservation for campsites or day passes or it’s pretty easy. The water feels amazing. You can cook at the campsite with fire rings already given each campsite usually comes with picnic tables. They have showers bathrooms with toilet paper. It’s a real fun place with a lot to do especially if you coming with family or you just need a spot just to relax past time or an alternative to getting a hotel.

I want to be clear: the issue is not the place itself — Lake Perris is absolutely beautiful. It’s a great spot to relax, enjoy nature, and spend time with family. The scenery is stunning, and the park is very well maintained overall.

The safety is also a big plus. The lifeguards are attentive and always keeping an eye on the kids, which makes the experience feel much more secure, especially for families.

What’s really disappointing, though, is the behavior of some visitors. Unfortunately, a lot of people leave trash behind — bottles, plastics, and other garbage — even though there are plenty of large trash bins available throughout the park. It’s frustrating to see such a beautiful place not being respected the way it should be.

This could easily be one of the best outdoor spots in the area if everyone simply did their part and cleaned up after themselves.

The lake area was beautiful, and the campground offered a perfect chance to relax and unwind. However, for our group, the main issue was inconsiderate campers who stayed loud for most of the night. Overall, the campground is wonderful, but your experience depends on the neighboring campers you get.

Great place for an extended family picnic. We went in December, not busy at all, and a beautiful sunny for my daughter in law’s birthday party. Perfect setting, walking paths, kids played by waters edge, my son took  the small boat out for rides in the lake.

I go fishing hear on the weekends some times it's a good day others is nothing but bites other than fishing lake Perris offeres scenic picnic areas with grills and nice walks along side the water

Reasonably priced and fairly local to the LA/OC area. A great little camping getaway spot. The lake is nice for swimming or boating and there are a couple hikes nearby of varying difficulty and length. Campsites are clean and the restrooms are fairly roomy.

Beautiful area. The lake is quite large and you can swim in it. Great camping as well.

What a beautiful state recreation area of Lake Perris.

I came here for SSBD and camp out for the festival. Watching the sunrise here was so magical. It’s very easy to find a lot that you’re staying in. I didn’t know this place existed and it’s so cool. How much area it has. Especially coming here to swim in the lake. Will definitely come here again to camp with my friends.

Beautiful lake! Camping, paddle boarding, sailing, boating, jet skiing & fishing.  Beach area,  restrooms, picnic & barbecue areas too! Go for the day or spend multiple days camping. Lots of parking. Great place to take friends & family🙂

Always enjoy going to the lake and just being with family. We camp there and head to the lake early. The campsites are usually pretty clean. Check in staff are pleasant and this time patrol actually came around during quiet hours to regulate their policy. This was nice only because sometimes it's battle of the bands. We've gone annually since 2021 and enjoy it

Great campsites. All the amenities. If you are camping with someone who has never camped before, or if you are with small kids, this is the place for you! The lake is only a two minute drive or 10 minute walk from the bobcat campground. The marina sells fire wood, 10$ a bundle. Also, it's close enough to LA to make it well worth the trip! It's also close enough to Moreno canyon to run to town for anything you forgot.

My son and I originally drove to Perris looking for a hiking trail and ended up right in front of the Lake. No one was here but us so it was surreal. It felt like we were in a completely different place the sun was really bright no wind it was during the summer on a Tuesday. Beautiful view. Will definitely return to have a picnic. There were signs to stay out of the water. No swimming! Plenty of parking available and restrooms by the lot. Picnic tables too. I wish I could have found the trails.
