RV Park

Overview

Overview

Le Bivouac De L'Ancien Marina & Camping in Gracefield, QC sits along the banks of the Gatineau River in western Quebec. This riverside property offers a traditional Canadian camping environment defined by its direct water access and proximity to the Laurentian highlands. RV travelers arriving at this location encounter a classic waterfront landscape shaped by regional forests, winding waterways, and a quiet rural pace.

Location & Surroundings

Approaching via Route 105, drivers travel through the heart of the Gatineau Valley, roughly an hour and a half north of Ottawa. The terrain features rolling hills, dense mixed-wood forests, and numerous freshwater lakes typical of the Outaouais region. Summers bring warm, clear days ideal for riverfront relaxation, while autumn transforms the tree canopy into vibrant red and gold vistas.

Amenities & Park Features

Given the inclusion of marina in the property title, visitors can anticipate a strong focus on water-based access, boat launching, and river views. Because exact utility hookups, site dimensions, and washroom details are not publicly detailed, travelers should contact management directly. It is always wise to confirm electrical configurations, water availability, and maximum RV length restrictions prior to arrival.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

The surrounding Outaouais region provides endless outdoor recreation for road-trippers and nature enthusiasts. Anglers and boaters frequent the extensive Gatineau River system for walleye and bass fishing. Nearby regional parks offer hiking trails, wildlife viewing, and cycling routes, while local outfitters provide canoe rentals for multi-day excursions down the waterway.

Who This Park Is Best For

This destination suits water-loving road-trippers, anglers, and independent travelers seeking a scenic basecamp along Route 105. It fits RVers who appreciate natural waterfront settings over crowded resort parks. Those looking to escape urban traffic in favor of northern Quebec river valleys will find the setting matches their travel style.
