We really love it here.  Absolutely beautiful location, mature trees and right next to the creek.  Lots of nooks and crannies to explore.  Kids love the playground and the pool and always make friends.  I appreciate that it’s not rambunctious and we can enjoy camping in a park while still feeling somewhat removed from society, honestly kind of a rarity with places like these in my experience.  Store is convenient!  Always make friends with the cats who live on the grounds while visiting too 😻

Driving off the main road already lets you know how beautiful this place is. But take it slow its a one lane road both ways. Staff was absolutely amazing, kind from the moment I walked in and they even helped me back our motorhome into the location. This place is stunning. Our new favorite place to camp. Our kids love it too. A little oasis away from Phoenix. My family and I cant wait to come back again.

What a wonderful find this beautiful campsite is. Liz at the front desk was great as well as the 2 gentlemen who were also available and helpful . Liz went out of her way to get our cabin and rv site closer together. We are from Southern California and to find an rv park with mature trees everywhere,  fishing,  natural water ways, ( creeks and pond) lovely swimming pool and spa, play ground for the kids, endless areas to ride bikes, llama, miniature ponies, horses ( for your viewing pleasure), clean restrooms and showers,  attentive staff who seem to love their jobs, a delightful cabin close to our rv site, fire pit, wood for sale, sense of incredible safety… is of unheard of. We will definitely be back!

The park will not allow guests to your campsite without paying an outrageous day use fee of $15 per person plus $5 per child plus $5 per  pet plus taxes and additional fees. The park wasn’t full and not at peak use. The employee was rude. Will never stay there again or recommend to anyone else.  Other RV parks allow limited guest use with no charge in the Sedona area. THE RESPONSE from the OWNER listed below it NOT CORRECT in anyway.  We are seniors that RV a lot.  The front office employee, woman, was very abusive to my husband upon our arrival.  He went to the office to check in per her demand.  He complied to giving her his credit card, not understanding there was nearly a $50 fee to visit with our friends for a couple of hours.  We did not consume alcohol nor were we playing loud music to disrupt the peace of the few other guests.  Clearly the park rules can be broken per their discretion.  Something very weird is taking place at this RV park.  Beware if you choose to stay here.  I was very firm in my request to seek a refund as we were leaving immediately.  We were there approximately 15 minutes.  The owner went to my friends site at 8pm that same night and knocked on their door.  The conversation was recorded because his first words was calling my friends  a AH.  Like I said something weird is happening in this park and it’s not by the guests.

Let's start with the good first.
Lo-Lo-Mai is 20 min from Sedona, located on a creek. It has mature shade trees and the RV spots are large enough for opposing slide outs.
It has a true camping vibe with natural grass and a open feel.
The BAD.
We have some Travel Friends, who rented their RV spot in Sedona Springs RV. We couldn't get a spot there so we chose Lo-Lo-Mai.
First: No music is allowed. No playing guitar and singing around the campfire.  No outside tunes of any kind at all.
Second: Our first night, we visited our friends at THEIR RV spot in town, as it was their turn to make dinner, then came back to our RV spot.
The following evening, it was our turn to make dinner. Our friends came to OUR site, and before they got out of their car, an employee corraled our friend (a 67 year old man. We are not children) and hauled him to the office.
They told him he needed to pay $15 per person, plus $5 for their dog, plus tax, for a total of $42 dollars. And they wanted CASH. He refused, offered a card, and they charged him an additional 3% fee.
This is Lo-Lo-Mai's DAY USE FEE.
He explained he was just coming for dinner, had his own RV and wouldn't be on site for more than a couple hours.
No dice.
As such, he came back to our site despondent.
We went to the office, demanded his money back, packed up our groceries and drove back to THEIR site to make dinner.
When we returned, we got a knock on our door at 7PM. The manager of Lo-Lo-Mai told us he wanted us to vacate the premises in the morning. He did refund the days we paid for that was unused, but I believe that was to avoid litigation.
In short:
You are NOT ALLOWED GUESTS. Period. Not for dinner, or smores, not for any amount of time.
All people have to pay $15 PER PERSON. $5 FOR DOGS AND CHILDREN.
This is NOT DISCLOSED on your rental agreement.  It does say that additional day use charges may apply for guests.....but that is a duplicitous statement.
In short:
If you have zero intrest in commuting or making friends or hanging out at your site...DO NOT BOOK LO-LO-MAI.
If you are simply traveling alone and need a place to stay, well, then it will probably work for you.
As long as you don't hum to yourself while roasting your hotdogs.

We loved our stay at Lo-Lo-Mai! We rented a camper van and the RV sites were nicely spaced apart. The bathrooms had running water and clean showers with an outdoor sink for washing dishes. The pool was nicely heated & the hot tub was hot. The mini store (cash only) was so thoughtfully stocked that we ran out of nothing. Firewood & ice is also available for purchase. They had a small playground our daughter really enjoyed & WiFi was accessible near the office. Note they have a strict 6pm check in time - due to traffic & things beyond our control we arrived at 5:58pm, and it was a bit stressful. We called several times to keep them posted. I imagine if we were a couple minutes late and they knew about it, we probably would have been ok (but I don’t know). The staff were so nice and very accommodating. Would definitely stay again - especially during the summer when the river is warm enough to swim.

Beautiful location if you want to visit Sedona and the surrounding area. The grounds and facilities were clean, offered laundry and a little store. For three people for three days with no pets the cost was $387.00/ 129.00 a night bit steep for RV camping, water and electric only. They do have a dump station on your way out.

Our campsite was right on the river, the sounds of the rippling water was so peaceful, as we sat by the fire each evening. The showers and bathrooms were well taken care of and the friendliness of the staff was top notch. We're planning a return visit. I can't think of any suggestions. THANK YOU for the hospitality!

This place is a wonderful place to visit @ least one or twice a year. The location is not to bad driving from Phoenix. It's cool and breezy in the summer. It very quite. RV, tents, rental cabins. The leaves on these trees look awesome, there always weaving all day long. As for the establishment, lots activities for everyone. There's a basketball court, swimming pool, horseshoe pits, laundry mat, little country store, hiking trails, picnic area and @ times there is water flowing down the greek. I recommend to anyone that likes camping and outdoors.

I regret to say our experience at Lo Lo Mai Springs was deeply disappointing and felt financially predatory. I advise future guests to read the fine print very carefully.

The primary issue is their unconventional and inflexible per-adult pricing model. Unlike any campground I've ever visited, they charge per person, per night, on top of the site fee. For our party, this added $100/night for a basic campsite. When half of our group decided to stay in a hotel instead, the campground refused to refund the extra $50 per night for the two adults who left, even though our physical footprint and use of the site did not change. Their justification was that we had booked a "larger site," but in reality, the site was quite small and they specifically highlighted the exact area we were confined to. We paid for four adults but only used the space for two, with no adjustment.

Furthermore, their strict "no cancellation within 14 days" policy was applied punitively in this situation, preventing any fair accommodation for a change in our group size. The office attendant (owner?) had an attitude of “what are you gonna do? I have your money already” staring me in the eyes.

Beyond the pricing issues, the amenities do not justify the cost. The restrooms and facilities are mediocre and dated. For the price we paid per night, expectations for quality and customer service were much higher.

In summary, we felt nickel-and-dimed by an unfair pricing structure and treated without compassion or flexibility as customers. The value for money is extremely poor. We will not return and cannot recommend this campground.

Very nice!  It was quiet, the staff was friendly and very helpful.  I will definitely be going back.

While visiting Sedona earlier this year I stayed here and I LOVED IT!!!! It is in a little 'hollow' with a creek running through it so despite being in the desert there were LOTS of trees at the campground. I actually found I preferred being at the campground more than in Sedona! The folks there were awesome. There is no cell coverage but they do have a phone set up via satellite (or something I don't understand) that they allow campers to use for free - even long distance. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
