Campground is cramped. Your picnic table is parked on your neighbor's sewer hose. The campground is nothing but weeds and cockleburrs. Trying to take your dog out is a nightmare trying to avoid the worst patches of weeds. For what they charge per night, they should do better.

The location is great as it’s next to everything but the campground needs a little love. Maybe some gravel and some leveling and little less mud.  Maybe some down lighting to replace the stadium lights that make you feel like you’re in an interrogation room, and some shade would be nice. We left to go to the amphitheater and got back after dark to find someone in our site even though we had a screen room and chairs. We knocked on the door and asked them to leave which they did but I wouldn’t leave any valuables when you go out. The place serves its purpose but they could do better.

You're stacked in there like a deck of cards,u definitely want the newer side to the west the older part of the campground looked a little sketchy. Conveniently located near the south entrance oh teddy Roosevelt national park. Definitely better than red trail campground. Showers were pretty good,never had to wait for a shower and good hot water,no fire ring,just charcoal grill.

Location of this park is great, very close to town and close to the National Park. The campground needs a lot of work. Very dusty, they need to gravel the roads, sites are literally on top of one another! Hard to sit at your picnic table because you are right next to your neighbors sewer line! If they would just put a little money into the park it could be nice. Bathrooms are decent, nothing special. Thinking next time of boondocks in the NP, at least there your not right on top of each other

The Medora campground is in a very convenient location within walking distance of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park visitor center and the cute town of Medora. The campground has various camp sites for tents and both large and small RVs. The campground has full hookups, including electric, which is key in the warmer months. There is also a small camp store, laundry and two bath houses.

The sites are tight with little space between them. However, we thought having the full  hookups and the central location of the campground were a fair trade-off for the tight space. Additionally, we were gone most of each day since there is so much to do in the area that the small outdoor space by each site didn't really matter.

Location was great for Theodore Roosevelt NP and downtown Medora.
We stayed in one of the wagons, and what a treat! They are huge inside, with a/c which came in handy with the 105°.
The only thing I didn't like, the bathrooms need a fan ( they were super hot inside even at 4am). Also because of crickets, they probably should be cleaned at least twice a day. There were a ton of them in the ladies room.
Even with the crickets in the bathroom, id stay here again.

Great location and easy booking! Campsites were well maintained, and the staff checking us in were nice and helpful. There’s not much to do at the campground itself, but we went into town and explored the national park, which was lovely. Perfect base for visiting Medora.

Great campground very close to TRNP and the attractions of Medora, ND! Service was great and loved the campground. We stayed in a full hookup site and guessing a newer side of the campground. With that, grass is minimal and sites are closer than those in the older part of the grounds with mature trees and grass. Will definitely stay here again!

We are loving our stay at this campground. There are sites that were tight, with the sewer hookup encroaching on the neighboring site. Had we received a site like this, I would not have given 5 stars. However, we requested a site on the end, so we have plenty of room. Every single staff member here was very friendly and helpful. The campground is an excellent location and we were able to walk to Medora shops and restaurants. The National Park entrance was walkable as well with the visitors center right inside the gate. The only complaint I have about this campground is that the showers had a lot of spiders. The pros definitely outweigh the cons here and we’d definitely stay here again.

We camped at the tent sites. Highly recommend getting lot 103 so you only have neighbors on one side. Lots are tight. Someone mentioned lack of shade but we did not find that the case, thank goodness as it was 90+ degrees. The office has firewood and ice. There aren’t individual fire rings though, just one designated communal one.
The showers are free. I think the kids might have peed in some, so definitely find one that doesn’t smell. Also some shower heads only streamed, so try them out before stripping down. I saw basketball courts and playground for kids.

Very nice, spacious city run park - perfect location for exploring the Theodore Roosevelt National Park and for enjoying the small town of Medora and the excellent Medora Musical. Lots of room for big rigs, plenty of space between sites. 30 or 50 amp full hook ups, two large bathhouses, playground for kids, near the city pool and park. $35/night. WiFi worked pretty well - no TV service though. Laundry at the office had several washers and dryers. Washers $1/load; dryers 25 cents for each 7 minutes.
