Mountain Gate RV Park

We use this place as a stopover to getting into the homestretch to the Willamette Valley when we have been traveling in the southwest. It always has a spot for us and is very clean and good showers. It is well maintained and has lovely trees. The only downside is that it's located directly beside Interstate 5 highway and ther is constantly alot of traffic noise. But it works for a stopover.

Super lovely RV park. We were in spot number 1 which has a cute patio area, perfect for a gas fire pit and grass for the dog to roam around. Plenty of space and a perfect atmosphere.

The hot tub was incredibly nice after a long day and the staff were friendly on top of it.

Hot tub is amazing! The wild life and views are amazing! The staff is great! The laundry is high at $4.10 per wash and dry, but this is one of our favorite places to stay!

Absolutely majestic scenery. Open your door and mother nature is right there when you open your eyes. Hiking trails galore. Deer, quail, dove, chanterelle mushrooms, fresh air. No other RV resort in Shasta County in my opinion can compare to Mountain Gate RV Resort and everything that it has to offer. More photos and videos to come folks.

Nice clean overnight stop.  Make sure to do the pre checkin.  The office was closed on Sunday but our paperwork was waiting outside or us.  Easy on and off I5.

We loved our stay at Mountain Gate RV Park! It’s a quaint  park with spacious sites and great pull-through spots, perfect for families. From the moment we checked in, we felt welcomed. Our kids were greeted with delicious ice cream, which was such a thoughtful touch and made setting up our trailer so much easier while they were happily occupied.
The pool was a hit, and while we didn’t bring our dogs this trip, we were super impressed by the dedicated dog area complete with a dog pool! It’s clear they go above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable for the whole family, furry friends included.

We wish we could have stayed longer and would absolutely recommend Mountain Gate RV Park to anyone passing through or planning a getaway!

Great little RV camp ground, easy access off the highway and to Shasta. Staff was friendly and site was very clean. It was super quite, with not too many people during our one night stay (we were just passing through). The bathrooms were clean with plenty of hot water and the little pool was very nice.

Location location location ... Nested right under Mount Shasta, just off I5 and minutes from Redding.  A quiet established park, with lots of sites, that can fit all camping options.  Being minutes from the lake made it easy for us with to boat.  Big bathrooms, friendly staff and a warm group of regulars make it hard to leave.  The new maintenance crew has it in tip top shape just in time for the summer. Nancy is a wonderful park manager who did a beautiful job in accommodating our family.  If you want to get some ideas on what to do, stop in and chat with the camp host Jen, she knows all the gems of the area.

This place is so sad. We can see it was probably a beautiful campground back in the day. Bathrooms were either locked up for maintenance or Filthy. Trash piled everywhere inside and outside. One permanent even took her dog to the bathroom to run around inside while she showered. The pool was so thick with green matter. The grass at the sites haven't even been mowed this year. Very high. Laundry was 8.20 a load. Yes 4.10 for washer, 4.10 for dryer. Dog park has been abandoned. The "new" owners need to wake up. Hire a new maintenance worker since your other one left. On a bright note Nancy is amazing.

Horribly rude woman for no reason. This is our home town and will be sure to spread the word to avoid. You don’t treat people that way for asking questions about weekly rates etc.$47 a night plus tax even including good Sam is not the best deal anyway

Stopped by to visit a friend staying in the park while she's traveling. Nice clean park located in secluded area with local wildlife roaming free. Loved seeing the deer with their babies.

Had a really easy time finding my apartment. The communication was great and made me feel very welcome. Especially Evelyn Soto, she did a fantastic job with giving me a tour and follow ups. The pricing is great as well as the amenities that come with it. The location is great also, being from out of town this was very comfortable and a no brainer!
