One of the best investments we have ever made has been an annual camping pass to Thousand Trails, and this park is BY FAR our favorite! The staff is always warm and friendly, extremely helpful, the facilities are wonderful, we love the pool and hot tub (you’ll likely be the only ones using it!) and the nature, animals and views are just spectacular. It’s a birder’s paradise! Thank you especially to Michelle and Ginger for always being super awesome hosts. Love you guys!!

Pros: So fun! I love that they have free crafts and games for kids and families and cheapish ice cream socials. Beautiful trees all around. All the employees are kind and helpful! Cons: most of the grass is dead, there are no more dinosaur bones for kids to dig up (other vistors probably stole them and ruined the fun for others), the ANTS are Terrible!!! They are everywhere! They have invaded the pool area. People in the pool or sitting at the pool get bit all the time!! The tent sites are full of ants too

Love the place. We have a smaller trailer so fitting in was easy. Location is not too far from some attractions and basics. Indian casino in Alpine off highway 8 is beautiful and same city for Amazon locker pickup. Cool trails on the property, pool and small clubhouse for internet. Dog loved it w so many places to walk. Staff are very nice and helpful. Picture is sitting area outside clubhouse.

Hmm. Surprised this TT got as good reviews as it has at the moment. Smaller TT. But confusing layout with very limited signage. Unless you count them labeling all their trees. Lots of labeled trees but no signs to guide you to certain areas/site clusters. The site numbers are barely two inches tall and very faded on the electric box. Very tight to navigate, so you’ll probably be told to unhook if you’re towing and I have a 26 ft RV towing a small Chevy Trax. No one came out to greet us at the gate upon arrival, she was on her cell phone. I sat there for 2 min, then got out and knocked on the door at the gate. Did everything standing there with her. Then watched the same thing happen to the person that pulled in right behind me. No one came out to greet him. I’ve never had to get out of my RV at a TT. Came in for the evening one day, while it was still manned and sat there for like 15 seconds while the guy didn’t pay attention, only once I was trying to punch in numbers for the gate code, he realized and opened the gate. When we left to check out, we also had to get out and knock on the door and they wouldn’t open the door, just said to slide the papers through the slot, which wouldn’t go through because of the tape and it’s a small slot, so my partner just walked away with them stuck in the slot. Never seen gate attendants that couldn’t be bothered to help/greet. Bathroom was nice, a lot of the spots are secluded but not very level. Pretty area to drive through to get there. It wouldn’t be high on my list to stay at again.

Beautiful place and Amazing staff! Sites are a bit tight if you have a big rig but it is totally worth it. Mountains are beautiful, pool is great, even the little store is very stocked! I just love going there.

The cabin was above and beyond my expectations. It had everything in it. Rangers were friendly. I especially enjoyed bird watching!

Wonderful place to stay! Many different things to do, like basketball courts, horseshoe pits, pool, hot tub, community center, and others plenty of spaces in different places in the park. Definitely a place for families!

Great park for small rigs only. The road to park is tight turns all the way with borders and trees right on the edge. The park roads are narrow and they built a bathroom in the road making it 1 lane and a tight upwards turn causing your back end to come close to the building. They only have full hook up for the seasonal campers which we were not made aware of. We stayed for a week having to run to the dump station with the extend a stay tub.

I love this place. The staff is AMAZING. Hard working and genuine. The whole camp is very clean. Clean pools and working jacuzzi. Clean bathrooms. Quiet. There are so many things to do. Breakfast available for purchase is really cool. As well as desserts. Movies at night. The rec room is so much fun once you're pooped out from swimming all day. The mini golf course is so pretty with lots of shade. Lots of shady camp spots. The store has almost everything you need if you forget something. This place is my favorite campground. So pretty!

Very nice campground with excellent hiking right next door. Very clean, with friendly employees and very little road noise. Water pressure in the shower was low, but clean and nice otherwise. Laundry on site. Some steep and tight sections. Big RVs will likely struggle a bit and some sites will be impossible.

Such a fun place to visit. Relaxing. Great sites. More privacy than all the campgrounds I've visited in Cali. (Which is most of them in the San Diego area.) Quite. Nice staff. (As we've come to expect from all Thousand Trails camp grounds.) Thousand Trails #1 rule: Have Fun! This one delivers that. It's deep into mountain country, so we got no reception in the whole area.

A super nice retreat at an elevation of 3,800 feet. The employees here are really friendly and super helpful. You will not find people anywhere else who care more about making your visit the best possible. Sites are private and well laid out. Roads are hilly and a bit narrow with tight corners so you must rely on your best navigation skills. A wonderful place to spend a weekend or extended stay. Grounds have a comfy lodge with complimentary wifi and an nice store with basic grocery and camping items.

Beautiful area, and a really neat park. Unfortunately, we had some issues with the electric hookup. It was old and worn down, and it would flicker on and off the entire time we were there. We completed a maintenance request, but it was not fixed while we were there. Otherwise, we had an enjoyable stay. I loved how the sites felt separated by trees and brush- made it feel very secluded.
